In a word...breathtaking! The view of the mountains, the horses grazing in the fields, the wonderfully manicured grounds...Mark and Kim put 150% into what they offer their guests...and then some. Time just seems to slow down as one is taking in the scenery and the unhurried pace of "living". Mark can cook...I had to ask "what was in those scrambled eggs that made them so delicious?"...you have to go yourself to find out and to experience a wonderful, relaxing getaway. I'll be going back for sure.

We gathered at The Mahoosuc Inn to celebrate our daughters birthday with friends and family. The service is great, the food is great and the surroundings are beyond words. The mountains are spectacular. If you are coming to the North Country you won't find a better place to stay

For most folks (if you're lucky) you get one shot at your wedding day and everyone tells you that it's suppose to be absolutely amazing. Notice I did not say perfect, because let's be real, nothing is perfect not even wedding days. However, the wonderful staff at the Mahoosuc Inn go to the end of the earth to make your special day absolutely amazing.

Mark and Kim (the Inn owners) are incredibly laid back and attentive to the smallest of details (even the little things you don't remember). Throughout our entire planning process, they were accessible and made sure to answer our questions and when we were unsure of things, they offered suggestions and implemented them without a hitch. The Inn not only hosted our entire wedding party (it was relatively small) for the whole weekend, but our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception (dinner and dancing) and provided breakfast both mornings we were there. They truly made us, and our boys (two dogs), feel right at home for the weekend. They took time to get to know us, our families and even stopped to love on our four legged boys. They took care of all of our logistics, catering and beverage needs for the big day!

The venue is absolutely breathtaking! We got married in October under crisp blue skies and a backdrop of fall mountain color. Horses, chickens and beautiful flowers outlining the landscape. When we needed to make a last minute change to have our dancing and DJ moved inside, they didn't even bat an eye. Before we knew it everything was taken care of and the evening kept rolling right along. They helped us transform the barn into a breathtaking rustic setting perfect for our 62 guests. There was plenty of room to eat, drink and dance. The staff even got into the spirit joining us in our attire of plaid and Carharts.

Our accommodations were perfect! Enough space for everyone spending the weekend in the Inn without feeling on top of one another. A hot tub, fire pits (kept roaring on two exceptionally cold fall evenings) and lovely guest rooms with roomy bathrooms. It was like a home away from home.

The following morning they remained kind and generous, providing a delicious breakfast for us before we departed. They were calm and laid back from the time we arrived Friday afternoon until we departed Sunday mid-morning.

This is an absolutely amazing venue with an exceptional staff. The value is incredible and you can't go wrong any time of the year with the Mahoosucs as a backdrop.

The horseback trail ride was one of the excursions my husband and I chose to take during our honeymoon. The booking process was really easy and he and I ended up having our own trail ride led by a great guide. When we arrived they got our horses ready while we looked around, then made sure we were completely comfortable as we got acquainted with the horses. The ride was beautiful and the guide made sure all along the way that we were okay, checking the saddles halfway through to readjust them. She told us a lot about the area and the history of Mahoosuc. It ended with us leading our horses back into the stable and giving them apple cookies while they were groomed to go back into the field. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and it was a perfect, relaxing way to spend the afternoon. I would encourage anyone to go there for any of the activities they offer through the year.

Our first experience at the Mahoosuc Inn was a wedding reception in their function hall. It was a magical night and since then we have stayed at the Inn a few times and have had wonderful experiences. Mark, Kim and their staff are always very welcoming. The amenities are clean, lovely and charming. The food is delicious. The views are incredible, complete with horses grazing in the fields. Last winter we went dog-sledding with our families on the property which was a fantastic experience. The summer before, we went whitewater rafting with the Inn and had a blast. It was my first time rafting and Mark and his team were great. Whether it's sitting around a campfire listening to a staff member play guitar or relaxing in the hot tub on the deck under the stars while drinking mimosas, you're sure to create a memory you won't soon forget. Looking forward to snowmobiling next trip up!
