My family was taken down by the stomach bug and I knew we weren't going to make our first night that was booked. I called the hotel and they were so accommodating! They held my room for the second night and gave us a gift certificate for the night we missed.
When we arrived, someone had accidentally put a guest in the room we were supposed to have. The desk staff upgraded us to the suite for no charge. It was perfect! Two full very modern bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a bedroom with two queen beds. I will book this room next time we go. We moved in and headed straight to the pool, which was clean and warm. The kids had a blast.
The breakfast was amazing for a free hotel breakfast. Lots of variety and many healthy options.
We didn't use the shuttle to the mountain, but I wish we had because parking was difficult. When we go back, we will definitely take advantage of having easy transportation. That being said, the mountain is only 2 minutes away.
All in all, a great stay for the price and the staff are so nice that they make this hotel even better.

The Sunapee Lake Lodge was very comfortable. Convenient location to ski mountain and excellent restaurant right next door. The hotel staff was SUPER nice and extremely helpful. The shuttle ran on the holiday week (Usually on the weekends). The holiday price we paid for our family of four was very fair value. For clean accommodations, breakfast, pool, shuttle and internet access our price was fantastic. My only slight complaints: The breakfast was just OK, but enough to get through the morning and the pool water was a bit cool, though it was -5 outside.

Room Tip: 206on first floor was clean and had good internet access

Just spent three great nights at this lodge, which is right next door to the Mount Sunapee Ski resort, and had a wonderful stay. Parking is more then ample, front staff most helpful and rooms were clean. In the morning, the breakfast room was supplied fully with nothing missing and kept full throughout the morning. My family and I will be staying here again when we visit the area.
Thank you to all at the lodge in making our stay great
Dan

First time here. We bought our westie with us. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful. Always smiles on their faces. Our room was downstairs oversized to accommodate our dog, away from people without animals so not to bother anyone. our room was next to the exit to take our dog out. Great especially at 2 in the morning. Room was clean. Breakfast had enough choices. Staff answered all questions directed us to different things in the area. The beach was pristine and beautiful. The National Park was great. A lot of families with dogs. A lot of activities in the area. Will be going back. Chatham our westie loved it. It is not a fancy hotel but, the staff is truly the best. The staff makes this hotel. Bob and MaryEllen and Chatham M

We spent two nights here for a wedding in the area and this hotel was just fine.

Alayna and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful at check in. They offered suggestions for local places to visit and things to do which was much appreciated. Alayna even wrote up a detailed description of the river walk in nearby Sunapee, which was great!

The common areas of the hotel are a little tired but nothing looked too bad. The room was big enough for three people and luggage and was not super fancy but was perfect for what we needed.

The complimentary breakfast had hot and cold items and plenty of variety.

The workout room had three pretty old machines but it got the job done! There is also a sizable indoor pool which we didn't get to take advantage of.

For the price and the location to the state park and other nearby attractions, this hotel was great. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was an added bonus.
