My husband and I stayed for one night and were very pleased. We arrived well after 6:00 pm and were greeted, welcomed and accommodated in a very nice, secluded, level campsite. We were within a short walk to the showers which were very clean - water pressure is adequate and there was plenty of hot water. The campsite is across the street from a lake - tucked back in the woods and very private.

We stayed one night in August during the peak of late summer vacation and managed to get a nice site on a saturday night. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us a site suitable for a large, long motorhome. We even had open sky views for our satellite, even though the majority of sites in the campground are tucked into nice pine tree dingley dells. This campground offers numerous kinds of sites: tenting, long seasonal stay, short stay.
It rained heavily overnight, but the grounds were sandy and there was no flooding. There was plenty of places to walk our pups, along with poop bag clean up stations. Nice quiet campground...you could hear a pin drop at night. We did not use the facilities (pool, rec room, etc.) Our cell signal was fair to good so we were able to use our own hotspot for internet connections.

Room Tip: Sites near the playground and to the right as you enter the campground are good for satellite TV.

We enjoy the friendliness of the owners and the facilities are clean and outhouses located around the park which is nice instead of hiking a mile to the bathroom. There is boat rentals you launch across the street at the lake. We visit yearly and enjoy our stay here year after year. Laid back feel. There is a playground, pool and jacuzzi and sports to play also a big field next to it all. Great location off the highway.

We got in late to this campsite after dark. Was just happy to find a campground. The site was actually nice, well treed and fairly private. Lot of rules but I think it works for the campground. Bathrooms were clean, nice big shower stalls and they were free. I would recommend this place.

This place is great for families with kids of all ages. There is a wide variety of activities and things to do, like fishing, private beach, canoes and kayaks rentals, in ground swimming, basketball and volleyball courts. Also special events like ice cream social and more.
