The facility was very nice, but my warning about Wednesday night is if you are in your unit in the early evening and are booked in room 124/126 above Flatbreads, the in house restaurant. The consistent drumming coming from the restaurant for 3.5 to 4 hours gets very old, very fast. The staff at the front desk was warm and welcoming. We stayed in the main building, but it is a very large facility and your accommodations may vary according to the day of the week you check in. Also, it is an RCI facility, so availability can chance from day to day. This building is probably the oldest of the units, and the floors are uneven and creaky, but there is an elevator that accommodated the luggage rack and my walker. We had a two room unit - one with two queen sized beds and a small, but complete bathroom. My walker did not fit through the door of the bathroom, but if it had, there wouldn't have been any room for anything else. The other room had the kitchenette with a dishwasher, microwave, 2 unit stove, and full sized refrigerator/freezer and a living room with a table and chairs and a Murphy bed, The cupboards are very high and it is suggested that a step stool be provided so the top plates and glasses can be reached and we don't have to try to stand on a folding chair. The town is delightful with lots of activities in the winter and the summer.....but, be aware that there is a "mid-season" when a lot of restaurants and shops are closed, like April and May. Conway and North Conway are very cute New England towns.

Room Tip: There are many options for accommodations depending on check in day of the week.Be specific. Since it is a RCI facility your options can change from day to day. If you want a specific type of unit and,if you can be flexible, check with reservations very often.

To repeat what others here have said, the front desk staff were personable and helpful. The inn is at one end of the delightful four-block, one-street North Conway shopping and dining district. You don't have to drive anywhere, and you shouldn't because the street is congested. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The location of the hot tub was curious -- at the edge of the parking lot -- yet there were always people in there, sitting just inches away from parked cars. Expensive. If you're traveling on a tight budget, this is not for you.

The Inn: The staff was phenomenal - especially Nancy and Kristin at the front desk! They made us feel like family. Our cabin was downright beautiful - we wished our stay had been for much longer. Flatbreads, the on-site restaurant, was wonderful - organic food, a charmingly rustic décor and a socially conscious approach including community outreach.

The Area: The Nature Trail (part of the Inn's grounds) was really nice though a bit tough to navigate as winter snow was still transitioning to April thaws. Priscilla's Café (open for breakfast and lunch with Cindi our awesome waitress) quickly become a favorite, especially with all the fresh veggies options with which you could build your own omelette. The Muddy Moose had a fun atmosphere, relaxing deck and lots of menu options. Christmas Farm Inn was an amazing, up scale fine dining experience with Joshua, the sweetest and most patient waiter ever.

Overall: We LOVED the Eastern Slope Inn and look forward to a return visit! The area is beautiful and the Inn perfectly located to all the area attractions. We visited on an off-season - which meant not everything was open or accessible, but it also meant we missed dealing with hordes of people. The ONLY things we wished had been different was the accessibility of the laundry area to our rooms (not direct) and the personal care products dispenser in the shower (placement of them made the shower a whole lot less roomy and we prefer to know the ingredients of the products we use).

Room Tip: The cottages are amazing. Try for the Moat Cottage (A and B). That is where we stayed and we loved it!!

My family stayed here for a week with another couple through our time share. I asked to be in the main hotel due to my disability of not being able to climb stairs. The first time I was given a beautiful mini townhouse in the main building with steep stairs to climb to the bedroom. Needless to say, I asked for another room. We were given two rooms right next to one another. One was a hotel room with two beds, a tv and a bathroom. The other held our mini kitchen, (2 burner stove, sink, microwave convection oven, and full sized refrigerator). There were Murphy beds which weren't needed, a mini couch and a smaller table that we managed to fit 5 around. The other couple had their own room down the hall.
We stayed comfortably and cooked in 5 out of the seven nights. We ran into a few problems. There was no manual on how to work the convection oven, plus there was no dish that could go in it. When I asked for a dish, a Pyrex bowl was sent up. Another problem that we ran into was that the propane gas tanks for the grill ran out of gas. The service man said that he would go and restock for the weekend. But....what about our food on the grill? My husband brought this issue to the manager saying please get us another tank or pay for five of us to go to dinner. Needless to say, the service man went to Lowe's to purchase more tanks.
There is a restaurant in the hotel called Flatbreads, but I thought it was pricey for a pizza.
The inn itself is beautiful and clean. They were updating the carpets while we were there. There is a fun game room. There is a ping pong tournament held by Chad every Thursday. Other activities are offered that you need to sign up for. There is a large indoor pool and a hot tub outside. The mountains are picturesque. There are many stores in walking distance as well as one restaurant. Crawford Mountain is right across the street . It has great skiing and snow tubing. Unfortunately, the tubing was done for the season upon our arrival. You need a car to go outlet shopping. You need to know your prices. But, you can have fun because there is no tax!
The staff at the hotel were outstanding. They were always available to give advice or offer help with any problems we encountered. Need to give an extra kudos to Jane, the manager!
Steve, the handy man was wonderful. We asked for a DVD to be installed. He came back two times because he didn't have the parts. He wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. It was very much appreciated!

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor in the main building. The main building is the only building that has an elevator. However, the buildings in the back are newer and are equipped with fire places. Some even have jacuzzis!

Just wanted to get away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life. So what better way to do it, was to spend a weekend up north (not too far from home) with a friend. It was easy to find, and our experience with staff was excellent. Our rooms were clean and well stocked with the necessities for our weekend stay. The shops and restaurants were all walking distance from the Inn. Our mountain scenery provided an impressive and relaxing view of our stay where ever we went. We definitely accomplished what we came here to do. It was a fun weekend!
