We were recommended this location by our hotel front desk during an overnight stay in the area. We parked right on main street and a short walk down found this location with ease. We did not have a reservation but were able to be seated quickly, even though most of the tables in the place were full including some outside seating. We found it quaint, decorated with a lush red color on the walls and corresponding paintings. The food was with delicious - from the tuna appetizer, the salads and steaks - everything was cooked to our specifications and tasted wonderful. I would definitely stop in here.

Ribeye was a fatty cut and poorly cooked. Chicken picata was nothing special. Mussels were gritty. Only the chowders were worth going back again for. A fancy place - tablecloths and a nice restaurant - but the quality wasn't there.

The place is unassuming and along the main road, but it has charm. We had a pleasant dinner there. The corn and crab soup was one of the best ever. The bistro salad with chicken and the grilled chicken main courses were both delicious. Excellent desserts too. Only drawback was our table was small and kind of in a doorway.

Overall a great place, great atmosphere, located in a quaint New England house converted into restaurant. We sat in the bar area with Dan the bartender who was very personable took care of us. We had the specials, the Stuffed Beef Tenderloin with mushrooms and blue Cheese and the Chicken Picata. Everything was great, except the beef was a little overcooked.
