We were up here for fall leaf peeping season. We found it at the bottom of a steep residential hill. The first night I believe we were the only guests in the place so it was very quiet and a restful spot to be savored out in the country. The breakfast was really quite good and expansive--far better than what you'd receive in the hotel chains and we appreciated that since there were so few guests. I had none of the problems noted in other older reviews with the manager. Our room had a Duraflame heater-a fireplace type model and a refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave. Our room was plenty big for the two of us and it was clean and comfortable. My only comment would be the very dim lighting with those new light bulbs. I am an avid reader and had to move the chair at the end of the bed over by the sink just to read. The table light between the beds proved useless with its heavy shade.
