We docked our boat at the restaurant and went onto the deck for a wonderful lunch before heading back out to Lake Sunapee for more sun and fun.

We were boating Sunapee for the day and stopped here for lunch. The docking was very convenient and the food was great!

We took the granddaughters to the Anchorage for lunch on a beautiful summer day. After being seated on the outside deck on the water, we ordered; the service was satisfactory, and the food arrived promptly. The best feature of this establishment is the location directly on the water in Sunapee Harbor with busy boat activity and the departure of the tour boat.

The sandwiches and one child mac and cheese were adequate; the place was very busy, and we had a fine time. After we went across the street and purchased ice cream cones!

Well we were trying to get a little lunch and the waitress came out and told us the kitchen was very backed up and they were not seating people now. We had only been to the Anchorage a few times before and we did not go back. They didn't offer to seat us in the bar nothing just the kitchen is backed up (to bad so sad) They could have offered a percentage off if we came back another day. But no- just we are not seating people.

While on a Sunday cruse with some friends we ended up traveling through Sunapee and decided to swing into The Anchorage to have drinks on their deck and relax by the water. Even though it appeared to be very slow and there were almost no diners inside the restaurant we waited for about 5 min before a hostess came to seat us. We enquired about sitting outside because we could see that the deck with it's many tables was less than half full. We were told by the hostess that it would be about 40 min before we could be seated out there. Instead our hostess told us we could sit at the bar if we wanted. Which we did. It was small, hot and stuffy and there were no windows open, even though there was a large door leading out to the deck. Everything seemed sticky and worn out. We had one drink and left. I don't think we will go back ever again.
