We found this place online planning our vacation at Weirs beach, the outside of this place does not look to appealing but they are working on it, the location is great with a view of the lake right down the street and a small beach you can swim at kind of rocky there though. The room we got was A3 and the place was redone beautifully you could still smell the new paint smell but not strong. It's a two bedroom unit one room has a queen bed and the other 2 twins which was great for the kids. In the living area they have a table for four a trundle day bed with two chairs and a flat screen tv. The kitchen was great all the appliances you would need with a full refrigerator, the bathroom was kind of small there is only a shower and it is very tight. There is a housekeeper who replaces towels and takes the trash out and that's it you wash your own dishes and make your own bed here. Also the walls are thin, you can hear the people above you walking or running around. Overall I loved staying here with my family and would come back again.

This was a neat little spot to stay for a few days. It is right up the street from Lake Winnipesaukee on a small dead end street. The room we stayed in was a 2 bedroom apartment style unit. It was very clean and updated. There were hardwood floors throughout the unit and a full kitchen. The bathroom was a little small, and the shower was very small (so small that it was hard to shower). The beds were very comfortable and I slept great, which is unusual when I stay at hotels. Our unit had a nice little porch with a couple of chairs and we could see the lake from it. The hotel is only about a 2 min walk from downtown Weirs Beach. Great value and I would stay here again.

Room Tip: A3 was a great unit

Gorgeous view, right on the pier, plenty of parking, run down on the outside, but the inside is gorgeously renovated. Great deal in April! We stayed in the 1br apartment style unit, 7 Baker Street, #2A. Only problem is not all the restaurants were open yet, but there were plenty of choices a few miles away in Meredith. Shower was small, but storage was plentiful.

We stayed at the lake side getaway this past weekend for the Meredith ice fishing derby. The place was great Friday and Saturday we had blizzard conditions . I'm a die hard fisherman and was worried the fam would be bored in the rental . They weren't me and my 8 year old fished all day sat and sun and true wife and my twelve year old were so comfortable they didn't bother us once . Also the owner was there checking on everyone and plowing and shoveling all through the night. . Great price , 5 star accomadtions. Thanks jeremy and Gina Furtado

We stumbled upon this little place when my husband was going to be in the area for business and the family was joining him on the trip. This was one of the places his employer had on a list for travel, and we chose it because of its close proximity to town, as we were without a car for most of the day while he was gone. What a great decision that was! First, let me say that I grew up visiting New Hampshire and I really enjoy the architecture of New England and the older homes and buildings. Lakeside did not disappoint! First, we had to go to the Lazy E cottages to check in & get our keys, but it's only about a 5 minute drive away. The owner/manager is extremely friendly and welcoming. There is no parking directly in front of Lakeside, since it is on a narrow residential street. There is a 15 minute limit on parking for loading/unloading for the hotel. There are assigned parking spots about 3 houses away beside a restaurant for parking. The building is turn-of-the century, two story all apartment-style accommodations. We chose A-6 for the two bedroom setup with a view of the lake. Upon arrival, to get to the second floor, you enter a common hallway with a few ironing boards and irons and some VHS tapes for guests to borrow. Up the narrow, somewhat steep stairs to the second floor, you re-exit onto the long, slightly sloping front porch, and access your room from the outside. There are two chairs on the porch and a small table next to each door, also a recycling bin for bottles, etc. that is emptied almost daily. Inside, there is a small kitchenette with a window, full size refrigerator/freezer and electric stove, small microwave over the sink, dishes, glasses, dish soap and towels, sponges, dish drainer, coffee pot with filters, paper towels, a few utensils, pots and pans. The living area has 2 windows, one with an a/c unit, table with 5 chairs, a tv on a wall bracket in the corner above the table, and a daybed/trundle bed, coffee table, and chair. The bedrooms are suprisingly large, each with double/queen bed, dresser, and good sized closet. The master bedroom has another tv and a window a/c unit. The bedroom with the lake view had two windows. The bathroom was tiny, with a small tub/shower, small sink with cabinet below, a mirror with a shelf, and a toilet with towel rack above it. This is a one-person bathroom; the door hits the toilet when opened, so you must close it to get to the toilet. The flooring is brand new wood throughout, except for the bath and kitchen, which was tile. Everything is renovated, but keeps the New England charm. Is it the Ritz? No. But it is clean, neat, and a great quiet place to stay near a very busy tourist attraction. Every day we walked to the boardwalk (about a quarter to a half mile?) and enjoyed the mailboat ride, the train ride, the arcades, the water park, and Weirs Beach. Since you have to pay to park everywhere, this saved us lots of money! An added bonus was the daily towel service. And the price couldn't be beat! For about the same cost as a motel room, we had more living space, plus a kitchen...we saved money eating breakfast and lunch there instead of at a restaurant.
Just a couple of items worth noting...having wifi access was great, however at times seemed weak and we got a better signal moving down the front porch toward the end of the building furthest from the lake. The sun is very bright in the morning, especially in the bedroom with 2 windows. If you want to sleep in, I recommend bringing a sleep mask, as the curtains don't block much light. The refrigerator froze our milk and water; we tried to adjust the temp. and move items to different parts of the interior, but no luck. Check your liquids an hour before you need them, you may need to set them on the counter to thaw! Finally, this is NOT a complaint, only for people to be aware...this accomodation, especially the upstairs, is not handicapped friendly. There are stairs to enter, the stairs are narrow, and the bathrooms are very small. This is an old building, so do not expect accessibility if you have special requirements. Also, there is a very small "beach" at the bottom of the road where you are allowed to swim, but we went to the large public beach instead. We had a wonderful time in Weirs Beach and hope to come back!

Room Tip: The upstairs end unit had good lake views.
