Our family used a Groupon a two night stay at the hotel. From the time we arrived until the time checked out the staff was very friendly, helpful and obliging. Our room was upgraded because the hotel was not too busy this week. The room was spacious with high ceilings and a beautiful view of the mountain range. Housekeeping does an outstanding job at making sure the room is perfectly cleaned and stocked with the extras to make you comfortable. The hotel has a very kid-friendly environment where kids are kept busy with fun both indoors and out. We arrived during a snowstorm during NH vacation week. There was sledding, tubing, broom hockey and other activities outdoors and a beautiful indoor heated pool and movie theater. The hotel does a great job in keeping the integrity of the hotel for those who are there without The service was excellent in the casual dining restaurant. This was more of a casual weekend, so we did not eat in the fine dining restaurant, but it was nice to have that option. We just checked out today and I am already planning a Girl's Weekend there so we can try the spa. Thanks MVGH for the great deal so that we could try this magnificent hotel. It will be the first of many futures stays with you.

The Mountain View is an old time resort in the White Mountains. The staff were excellent, particularly Ms Baker who has boundless energy and organizes the child care and social events. The amount of work she puts in is quite extraordinary. Kudos, Ms Baker I very much appreciated your efforts with my children!

Great for families -the game room and small movie theatre are real assets, particularly for kids. There is a rink in the winter, though skate rental is extra. Unfortunately when we were there, there was little snow -so never tried XC skiing.

I did have trouble sleeping because of kids in the room above making a lot of noise -but it was February vacation -if you want to visit as a couple, don't go at school vacation times.

Our family returned to the Mountain View Grand for a few days stay during Feb. school vacation week. We had a great time, the kids are still talking about it and planning a return trip in the summer. The service is great and the staff friendly! Our children had a fabulous time, enjoying the movie theatre, game room, indoor swimming pool, ice skating, making friends w/the other children and attending many sessions of mountaineer camp - Thank you Mrs. Baker! :) from Max & Emma-soris Rex...
My husband and I were able to enjoy a lovely dinner in the wine cellar, our meals were outstanding - w/Jeremie and Claudio hosting our evening how could we ask for more?
Great time had by our family, thanks to all at MVG, we'll be back again this summer.

I recently returned from a six month military deployment and really needed to have some couples time with my wife. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding. Front desk and bellman staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in "The Tavern" and the food was wonderful and reasonably priced. Ms. Baker led us on a guided tour of the hotel which was helpful in getting to know the properties many amenities. Views of the mountains are truly spectacular. There are many activities including the move theater, the beautiful Eisenhower library, carriage rides, WiFi and the Spa. We really enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and pool, a great way to enjoy a cold winters day. The state of the art equipment and the mountain views made my work out in the fitness center that much more enjoyable. Thank you MVG staff your customer focused services made our first visit very enjoyable. This may have been our first visit but it certainly won’t be our last.
