Description: From the smoky wood flavors of seasonal appetizers and entrees, to the finely executed desserts, we at 3 West strive to keep customers coming back for more. A spacious, high-ceilinged barroom is one of three dining rooms characterized by warm shades and textures of brick, copper and rich dark woods. The middle dining room, which incorporates mission touches like a tray ceiling crisscrossed with polished wood slats and light fixtures in the shape of drums lined with rice paper. One wall offers a glassed-in view of the kitchen, another sports wine bottles in beautiful wood cubbies. The wine cellar dining area which consists of stonewalls and wine vaults surrounds an elegant mahogany table which accommodates up to fourteen guests. A seasonal 'New American Style' cuisine is as equally appealing as the surroundings. Our extensive boutique wine list, comprises smart choices and a wide-range of prices.

Private dining room for our party of 7 was great for a fine lunch and ongoing business discussion. Our guests from the EU were pleased as were we w overall service and quality of food. This place has been consistently good over the past several years - we recommend it highly for the perfect environment it offers to business clientele.

3 West is part of a group of restaurants (Harvest) and they all offer good food in nice environments with good service. A few years ago Three West upped their game with delicious appetizers and just great food all around. I've been a handful of times in the past year and it is consistently delicious and the service is very solicitous. I love their grilled salmon. Appetizers - the little egg rolls are so good as are the spare ribs. For dessert I also enjoy the sundae. They also have very good libations. Just writing about it makes me want to make a reservation.

Had dinner at 3 West with 4 others and was very disappointed. The place itself is very nice. Well decorated, comfortable, just a really nice atmosphere. The staff was great and gave us very good service. They were attentive, polite and did a great job without being intrusive. The wine list is okay and the overall menu is fairly broad – something for everyone. However, the food was very disappointing. Overall it lacked flavor, except for the braised short ribs which was dominated by salt (it was also very chewy). Crispy Veal Milanese was very much overcooked (also very chewy) and hence disappointing. Maybe 3 West has gotten too comfortable. It happens.

3 West is a beautiful restaurant with upscale interior. It's food was always consistently good. But when we went back recently the food was a WAW; they told us there was a new chef and pastry chef. We had the plate of blistered peppers, a delicious innovative appetizer that was a bit spicy but not too much. The crab cake appetizer was great. The scallops with roasted fennel were really out of this world! Also the halibut with asparagus was superb. Then we had the coconut desert with crunch and the vanilla Panna cotta : words lack to describe how great both deserts were! We paid over 200$. Hostess, manager, waiters were welcoming and super friendly. Popular & crowded restaurant, a lot of business people.

My husband and I had family in from out of state and wished to have a rather special dinner, which we felt 3 West could offer. The food was very good, but service is lacking. One is never sure who your server is to begin with, and we found ourselves asking anyone who walked by for a request. Did you ever hear of a waiter placing ONE piece of a very small piece of bread on a plate. Particularly while we were waiting for quite some time for our food? We had a table of 6, only 3 pieces of butter. Our guest asked for a bottle of champagne that evidently had to go through 3 people to locate it. The last straw was when they started breaking down tables and stacking chairs while we and others were still eating! This mind you, was a full half hour before their stated closing time. We were late eating as the service was so slow in getting our food. Again, the staff definitely needs training as there is a lack of professionalism for a restaurant that is expensive and billed as fine fare.
