I cannot believe I have not writte a review about the Sushi House yet. I have been coming here for years already, even before moving to the US. I usually go for lunch and take the lunch box. It is available like this or almost like this at every sushi place, so you know what you will be able to choose from. The food is excellent, always fresh and even extras are served without a fuzz.
Dinner is where the place shines. They have all the standard rolls, but the extras or specials are what draws me here. All sushi is freshly prepared and very well made. The warm food is mostly deep fired and comes out 'to the point' crispy with all flavors just right, not a trace of used oil. Note, that the Sushi House is off license so bringing your own Sake in, it gets heated and refilled into a clay pot and then served with matching little cups. Wine glasses are a little less refined, though.
All in all a great sushi place that is always pleasant and offers great, friendly service.

Visited on a weekday evening and had been looking for a nice sushi restaurant in the area. This one met the bill. There is a hibachi section as well as a sushi bar in this restaurant if that is your choice. This evening we just selected a table for two and sushi for dinner.

I really liked their specialty sushi options and opted for the rainbow roll and the dynamite roll. Both were very tasty and very filling.

The restaurant was pretty empty and we were able to be in and out and the staff was friendly. If on the hunt for sushi again I would definitely return.

If you get to go often to same restaurant then 3 things are important. First the food is good. Second the price is competitive. And finally the staff and owner is respectable and friendly. I have known Sushi House for over 10 years now. It does come up to my expectations compared to few others in the neighborhood.

A rare opportunity to visit with most of the family so wasn't laser focused on the restaurant but we can say that the sushi was fresh, the chefs performance entertaining and the hibachi food tasty. Excellent, friendly service, very accommodating especially when we exceeded the 9 seats at the hibachi table. The addition of a room dedicated to the hibachi tables gives the atmosphere a sterile, warehouse feel but the focus really is food and family. The only other minus is the BYOB status, getting a bottle of wine or some Sapporo is no problem if you know you need to but the restaurant could point out the need for those that aren't regulars- especially when calling for a large reservation. Price and value are good for the region. We would come back but since I don't live in the area any more would also try competitors too.
