Had dinner here our last night and the food was very good. My husband and I both had chicken (not seafood eaters) and it was really good and the portions were plenty. Definitely would recommend making a reservation.

I dont know who these people are that complained anout the portions, but maybe they need to diet. Portions were quite ample. More importantly food was delicious. Not a load of carbs, well balanced, and we'll prepared. I am sorry I didn't try this beautiful restaurant sooner. Fine dining at its best.Gracious hosts, knowledgeable servers, well prepared food, good choices for by the glass wines, homemade desserts. Could not be happier.

The scallops here are worth having. Prepared three ways-fried, pan seared or grilled- cooked to right degree of doneness. Can also be prepared in combo with shrimp or on a fried fish platter. Potato cup side dish is a velvety mash potato in a cup which has been browned in the oven- almost a soufflé type presentation. Two sides included with meal. Creamy clam Chowder worth the extra price. Seating relatively cramped. Moderately high priced but worth it. Call for reservations and if wheelchair seating is needed. Not all of place is accessible and even what is accessible is a challenge to navigate without multiple requests for people to step aside. Expected being cramped in old inn setting.

Located downtown within walking distance from Washington St. Reservations recommended. We ate early, had no reservations but were able to get a table in the bar (lounge). This was our second visit, there will be a third and so on.

Great menu, great decor, friendly staff. Piano music a nice touch.

Excellent service and food. Had a group of 12 and the restaurant was busy, but service was great. Stayed after at the bar to listen to Dean on piano. Complimentary valet was super.
