My sisters and I dined at Hemingway's recently when we were in town for our annual overnight trip. We had a reservation for 6:30 but arrived at 6:15 and they were able to seat us no problem. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they have an early bird special called Sunset Dining from 5-6:30 pm with several items to choose from, and it includes soup or salad, your entree and dessert, for $19 (regular menu prices range from $22-$39). 2 of us had the chicken parm and my other sister had the crab cake, and we all loved our meals. Our waitress, Svetlana, was very nice and very efficient. Given that Hemingway's is located in The Grand Hotel, a higher-priced hotel, we expected a quieter setting, and were again surprised (to our benefit!) at the Sunset Dining special, but be forewarned - if you come during that timeframe, you may be surrounded by families with kids, as we were. It may quiet down after that, but we were there until about 7:30 and it was still full and on the louder side. Don't let that keep you from trying it, though - we would definitely go back!
