Soonja is well off the main commercial strip of Nassau street tucked away in a quiet corner to the campus. It is assuming and understated, but a really delightful restaurant. They are clearly a Korean restaurant, but they also serve Chinese and Japanese dishes and sushi. The sushi was described by a my companion, connoisseur, who says ht its very good. The reason to come here, however, is the authentic, flavorful Korea dishes. The Bi Bim Bap is outstanding, flavorful and HOT. One of the best I've ever had. The dumpling soup is flavorful and hearty.
The staff is attentive, knowledgable and helpful. Definitely worth the trip.
