Recommended by friends, we decided to give it a try and glad we did. Service by Brielle was superb. Selected the drunken seafood bisque as a app, and the Day Boat Scallops as main course. I highly recommend both, my wife had the blackened salmon which she said was the best she ever had. Finished dinner with cappuccino. Great food coupled with great friendly service makes Pelican a winner. We will be back soon!

This is a little BYOB gem tucked away in an unassuming shopping center. Locals have been flocking to it for years for the fresh catch of the day. The staff is warm and friendly and try to accommodate your every whim. There long hots are delicious! If you're not in the mood for seafood they have delicious pasta and meat dishes. Our family visits this restaurant anytime we are in the South Jersey area and have never been dissapointed

We moved to the area 2 years ago and kept being asked if we ever tried Fischers Pelican but hadn't until now. Finally decided on making a reservation which was an easy process online. Went Friday evening, 630pm. Was not crowded when we got there but was pretty filled up when we left. Started with Muscles in white sauce which was very good. Was served a delicious basket of warm bread and then the house salad (I believe you can opt for Caesar salad also). Very good salad with a light dressing. Then our meal came (slight wait but it's cooked fresh). We both looked down at the dishes and were overwhelmed by what we saw we didn't even know where to begin. I had the Zucchini Crab cakes and hubby had Broiled Seafood combo. They were both DELICIOUS! Served hot and unbelievably tasteful. They were both large portions and we savored every bite. We passed on dessert but will try in the future. Service was excellent and will look forward to seeing our server Tony again in the future. Looks like we found a great restaurant that we will become regulars at!

Years ago before I started reviewing as a member of the Trip Advisor community, our dinner group had dinner here. If I remember correctly that meal was much better than on our recent visit. The BYOB restaurant was full when we arrived for our reservation time but had to wait a few minutes even though our table appeared to be ready. The menu is heavy on seafood but had some meat offerings. There were only a few specials. Our appetizers were okay but not overly memorable. I had the grilled octopus salad special - good but skimpy on the octopus. One person of our group sent back the clams casino appetizer because it tasted "fishy." Our entrees were varied and tasty. The tuna (cooked rare) was delicious. I had the broiled seafood combination which was good and not overly filling (the clams did taste a little "fishy"). A salad is included with entrees. Service was attentive. All in all I would describe our dinner as hit or miss.
