This was my second time there and it was just as good as the first time. The lunch menu is lighter in options than the dinner menu, but they have the same drinks menu, which is quite nice. If you like a little fire in your drink I recommend the Poquito Piquante. It's tequila based, not overly sweet and has a little heat from the Jalapeño. We had a bunch of tapas: Charcuteria plate, Croquetas, Patatas Bravas, Eggplant, but the best thing we had was the Pulpo (octopus). We liked it so much, we ordered it twice! Service was good, but this is not a place where you go to eat and run. Bring your appetite and your time. If you reserve with Open Table, make sure they capture your information, as at first, they said I hadn't shown up for the reservation.

Albarino has been open just about 2 months now, and the food quality, service, and wine list are excellent. The tapas menu changes almost daily. I have been here 3 times, and have tried almost everything on the menu. Beet salad, pork belly, squid, gnocchi, mixto blend - meat and cheese appetizer, pork ribs, eggplant, codfish, shrimp in garlic sauce, all excellent and great to share for two people. Also had two main courses. the lamb shank and sauce that came with it was superb, As well as the steak , which was perfect and tender. This is a Spanish/Portuguese Mediterranean menu. The wine list is all Spanish Rioja, Tempranillo, Syrah, Malbec, for reds, and Albarino, Char, Pinto Grigio, for whites.- there is a $14.00 wine flight which is very generous and a must to try. 3 glasses. - The ambiance is fun and exciting. The bartenders, and waitstaff is really knowledgable about the selections, and provide great service. The sommelier adises about the wines in a friendly fashion. A must try and go to place. Great job here. Keep up the great food and wine.

We were 2 couples interested in trying something different for dinner, Spanish food and tapas. The bar and the atmosphere is very attractive. The parking is excellent. Although the restaurant is a bit noisy, I was able to enjoy the contemporary Latin music. They have a nice drink menu - and the cocktails and wine were very good. The waiter was attentive and did a fine job going over the menu. While the food was good, the menu was disappointing. Having been to Spain, I was looking forward to some of the simple tapas (bread topped with tomatoes, grilled shrimp, egg frittata, olives) that we enjoyed in Spain. Only the olives were on the menu. We ordered some platters to share. The food was good but not exceptional and for the price the portions were small. I'd go back but for wine/drinks and an appetizer not for dinner.

We arrived a little early for our reservation and were graciously accommodated immediately. It was the night of the first snowfall and we were seated in the enclosed patio area which provided a lovely view of the falling snow on the shrubbery and silvery outdoor holiday decor. Although there were heaters in the room, it was still a bit chilly and the cozy blankets on each chair were used by a few of the female diners. Our server Alphonso was charming, professional and very well informed about the specials and their preparation. We began with a glass of wine suggested by Nick, the sommelier and his personally created Autumn Harvest Sangria. Both were excellent. We were tempted to get the paella but there were so many interesting tapas that we decided to go with the wonderful Harvest Salad of spring mix with quinoa, roasted butternut squash and roasted baby carrots in a light slightly sweet vinaigrette followed by Crispy Eggplant, Croquetas, Empanadas and the Garlicky Shrimp. Plenty of delicious food for 2 with enough room to share the hot Churros with chocolate dipping sauce and cappuccino for each of us. Tables are close but we enjoyed speaking to our fellow diners, comparing menu choices. Prices were what we expected from prior experiences when ordering small plates. It was a fine meal and we will definitely be back.

Nice layout, lots of happy, chatty people at the bar. There is no quiet spot in this place, so go for the lively atmosphere. The octopus we very good (tender, tasty), and a cheese board (3 types of cheese, with almonds, etc.) was savory and worth having again - especially with a glass of sherry. Some of the servers are pros - but a few others need more training. (Our server was great, but the table next to us had a guy who talked way too much and was quite annoying). Would go again - but maybe in late afternoon before the crowd appears.
