At ~$23 for a weekday coupled with the prompt service and incredibly fresh tasting sushi I give Sushi Palace an enthusiastic 5 stars! Wow. Wow. Wow. Order a la carte from a kitchen or cooked menu and then also a sushi menu. I ordered miso soup and the crunchy seaweed salad off the kitchen menu. Both were excellent. Miso soup, while not complicated, can come weak but it had just enough miso paste. The seaweed salad was tasty and just the right temperature. Not too cold to mask the flavor. The sushi was fantastic. Preparing sushi with the right ratio of rice to fish is a lost art but this place had it just right. Spicy tuna, salmon, rainbow roll, yellowfin were all tasty and the correct temperature. Service was very attentive. One note--it's BYOB or wine/alcohol. That aside, and that's no big deal, I highly highly recommend this joint located in a great little town called Somerville.

This place is awesome. They give you a check off card to select the sushi that you want for your table. What amazed me is that the portions were great, the food was quality and the service was so fast. When we came in here there was a mob of people waiting and they told us we would have to wait 15 mins. I think we waited closer to 20 but it was nothing near the length of the wait I expected.

Not only was the sushi good, the entree dishes like chicken tempora and dumplings were great.

For the price, this can't be beat! AND it's byob!

We enjoy going to Sushi Palace for all you can eat Sushi and other cooked Japanese dishes. Can get very crowded especially on weekends. Be prepared to sit very close to the next diner.

Sushi Palace in Somerville, NJ offers an all-you-can-eat buffet from a wide variety of Japanese dishes. The atmosphere is bustling in this former bank building. Service is very efficient, and the noise level is moderate. It is a BYOB and you should bring a complementary wine, such as chardonnay or pinot noir, to pair with the varieties of sushi. Seaweed Salad, Soft Shell Crab Roll, Shrimp Tempura and Eel Hand Rolls were some of our favorites. Start with favorite dishes in your first order and then select those sushi dishes not experienced before. With all-you-can-eat for one price, it's fun to try new sushi varieties.

At Sushi Palace, the price is right for pretty good all-you-can-eat food. They don't do much with presentation at all, but the selection is nice, and everything was very fresh. Besides the sushi, there are hot dishes, and I think I've developed an unnatural attachment to the Age Tofu :)

Somerville has a large amount of excellent sushi restaurants in the downtown area, and I would say Sushi Palace is probably the most decent of the all-you-can-eat places. Worth a go.
