The Chateau's location is perfect and peaceful. It is across from the Spring Lake Park. Just a short walk or drive along the Park, brings you to the charming town center with many stores and restaurants
The parking lot at The Chateau is ample and convenient to the rooms..which offer porches , balconies or a beautiful outdoor patio area...we spent a few quiet hours under an umbrella playing cards. We spoke to Ralph, "The Everything Man", who was making the landscape beautiful. In chatting with him we learned of a few new restaurants to try. We even learned of a great deli just steps away if a quick snack was wanted.
The staff is all friendly and knowledgeable. Jeff went out of his way to book our requests when we called for reservations. April made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit when we checked in. The Lobby or Lounge is quite stylish... offering private tables, a leather couch and comfy chairs if you want to sit a while. Great Coffee is available all morning and into the night, as is chilled and flavored water. Our suite was spacious , well appointed, spotless and cozy. The furniture was updated, chic and comfortable. We had 2 great days and wonderful peaceful nights of sleep.
We came away feeling refreshed and energized by our pleasant stay. We highly recommend it for a lovely get away!More
