There’s lot to like about Bikini. Cool decor, funky vibes, great cocktails (the bloodless martini was a revelation), efficient and friendly staff - and adventurous food.
We tried the reinvented chicken satay (with quinoa) and it was fantastic. Refer to photo of bowl of charcoal!
We also thought the cerviche was delicious, as was the Barra main course and our side of charred pumpkin. We also had the lamb shoulder that was rich and sticky. Yum.
The only thing we didn’t like was the pea panna cotta. It was just too creamy and minty. It needed more peas in it rather than on top!
If you feel the cold, take a jacket. The air con was a bit on the fresh side.
As an overall dining experience, it was very good. We would go again.
