“Turkish delight”
Reviewed 27 February 2012

We enjoyed our first meal at Tulip last night, and we'll be sure to return. The mezze platter that you're offered at the start is very impressive (and the choices we made were delicious). For mains we had the lamb kebab (melt in your mouth meat!) and the chicken breast with eggplant purée (eggplant puree was the stand out here - combined with mozzarella, it was the tastiest and creamiest I'd ever had). I'd strongly recommend the coconut kiss cocktail - very yummy! For dessert we opted for traditional baklava which didn't disappoint. Beautiful setting and ambience. The staff were excellent - attentive and punctual, and the head of service also came to our table for a brief chat which gave a personal touch.

“Great food in a lovely setting”

Great Turkish food in Bali. The mezze sharing plates are a great way to experience a range of flavours. Staff are a little inexperienced but very attentive. Overall a very good dining option in Seminyak

“Fantastic experience, Excellent Food!”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

I dined at Tulip for my partners birthday and it was a marvelous experience. After reading all the good reviews of the restaurant on Tripadvisor, i knew i had to try it. I was glad i did as it turned out to be great indeed!

The staff was really friendly and the ambiance was excellent as well. Most importantly, the food was worth every penny. The appetizers (mazzeh) is a must try! Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Bali!

We had a perfect dinner at Tulip!

Service very friendly and efficient, live band music and incredible food!
Actually what they serve is Turkish C U I S I N E, not just Turkish food!
All of these at a very reasonable price!

Thank you and keep up the good work!

“Great food, good value!”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

We went to Tulip based on the reviews from T/A and had a great night.
PROS
- Clean, modern, professional, romantic feel about the place
- Reasonable prices for the experience that you are getting
- Starters (Mezze's) were to die for. Definitely a must have if youre gonna go! You just dont get enough bread to go with it though!
- 7hr slow cooked lamb just melted in your mouth.
- Staff were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests
- Cocktails were great

CONS
- Mains didnt have many vego options if youre vego (but plenty in the starters)
- This restaurant didnt have much of a 'view' to look at but what u did look at (rice field next door) was pleasant enough i suppose
- Not much in the way of a/con and that would have been ok if there was a breeze coming through but no, we didnt get that either. It was more of a problem during our lunch session than our dinner session due to the heat of the day.

OVERALL
Would definitely come back. Did come back. Will do again if we ever return to Bali.
