This place has been around forever and it is as good as it always was. We had the brisquet followed by the peach cobbler with ice cream. It was devine!! Just like your grandmom used to make. Don't miss this one before you leave town.Nice people running it. Friendly and effecient.

We stopped here a few years ago and had one of the best BBQ meals and had to return a few years later. We arrived early, around 4 p.m. for lunch/dinner meal. There was not a lot of people, but at that time of the day and season, we didn't expect a huge crowd. The meat options we ordered were: brisket, ribs, pulled pork. Sides: baked beans, cole slaw, and green beans. All were delicious! In addition to the buns! The portions were more than enough to feed my husband and myself. Service was friendly and quick. We would definitely recommend a try.

Brisket and rolls are good, pork was dry. Nothing to write home about...at least they are open past 5 pm,a majority of others seem to close after lunch in this town.

We arrived around 5pm on a Wednesday evening, and were immediately skeptical of the place being completely empty of customers. The place looks good inside and out, cleanliness was decent, and the smell lured us into trying it. I tried the sliced brisket and the ribs; both were just mediocre in quality, taste, and texture. Cole slaw was plain and tasteless, and potato salad was very tangy. Baked beans tasted good, but so do some from a can.... She got the chopped brisket sandwich, which looked good. It was dry, and had been soaked in sauce to compensate, and very little flavor besides the sauce. I hate to say it, but if you're looking for good bbq, this isn't the place, especially if you know what good bbq is.
