The counter lady was unfriendly and rude. Not a very good way to start the day.
Breakfast is a simple meal yet the potatoes were dried cubes and completely inedible. The eggs were done perfectly, the biscuits and gravy bland, and the coffee tasted old.
I used to love this place but I don't believe I'll be back. What a shame!

I always try to get to the LCG while in Ruidoso. Was there on a Monday afternoon and had the green chile stew. Good stuff. Went back on Wednesday evening, as the Wednesday Special is 2 Red Cheese Enchiladas, Rice & Refried Beans for $6.99. While it isnt Sadie's (in Albuquerque, and my FAVE) it IS very good! Others in our party had the tacos, red beef enchiladas, New Mexico Combination and Chicken Strips. No food left on any plate!

Stopped in for breakfast. Order at the counter and they'll call you when it's ready. Ordered migas and had a seat on the deck. Migas came with hash browns, bacon (or sausage or ham) and a tortilla. Great food and service!

Decided to try the Lincoln County Grill for breakfast one morning. You order at the window and they call your name when order is ready. We had migas and they were very tasty, with hash browns. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the meal.

LCG is a little homestyle-cooking place, located next door to the Comfort Inn. Because we had been traveling for so long, it was refreshing to find a place that reminded us of home.

Good food, reasonable prices, and quick service make Lincoln County Grill a perfect place for a hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner. We found out that this is where the locals come, so you know it must be good!
