I really enjoyed this museum! You will receive a brochure at the entrance that explains each of the rooms which are numbered. This was one of the first settlements in the Taos area and the history is very interesting. One of the rooms has art exhibits which are changed out every couple of months.

This was the second time to the museum. This time with another couple who were interested in the history of the area (1804). Well done with lots of historical items and goos explanations.

We spent about 2 hours and our friends thanks us for taking them!

Nearly missed this place, not well signposted but glad we persevered. Definitely a hidden gem. We spent quite sometime going through and reading the history - fascinating. Definitely a must see in Taos.

This is one of those very old, must see attractions in Taos. A lot of history transpired within the thick adobe walls.

Huge old hacienda built in 1804. 21 rooms and 2 large courtyards. Many interesting artifacts are displayed, and the guide for the self-guided tour is helpful in understanding the place.
