Description: An Eclectic Taste Of Mexico. Chef Antonio covers all the bases, deliciously. Everything on the menu is prepared fresh and made to order and the majority of the menu can be prepared gluten free. Because of the flavorful, full-bodied sauces, you will be pleasantly full at the end of your meal accompanied with a fun Margarita like a Jalapeno, Watermelon Margarita. Nothing else like Antonio's Restaurant in beautiful Taos, New Mexico.

My husband had the fish tacos and they were fantastic. I had the house specialty; the suace was to die for. The owner is the chef and is a friendly person. The waiter was excellent. It's a small place and it's the best Mexican food we've ever eaten.

My partner and I found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a go, and it was fantastic! We enjoyed the mango chicken green chili enchiladas, veggie fajitas, and sopaipilla, all of which were absolutely delicious. Antonio himself came to check on us, and they were very accommodating to our requests for no dairy products. It was one of the best meals we have had out in a long time, and we will definitely return on our next trip!

While not a fancy-looking place, the food is great and the service was friendly. These folks really care about what they do. We enjoyed blue crab cakes as an appetizer--wonderful! The burritos were really large--heads up that the rice and beans are inside the burrito rather than outside. Super guacamole! Excellent Argentinian Malbec for wine. There is lots of outdoor seating at this location, but the temperature was too cool to be out.

We came for the weekend from Denver with another couple. Antonio started us off with the freshest margaritas ever. Then he recommended the lobster enchiladas and the rellenos, which were both amazing. We ate everything on our plates but had to have the sopapillas because it smelled so great when we first walked in The sopapillas were warm, soft and melted in your mouth! Honestly, they were like doughnuts! He finished us off with the most incredible watermelon jalapeno margaritas we had ever had. Truly a fantastic place to go with friends or as a couple. We will be back soon!

Chef Antonio has been in a few different places in Taos. His new place is tucked next to an Ace Hardware and the Verizon store. We have eaten there three times and each time was a superb treat. I don’t know how he does it. The meals he puts together are unlike anything I have tasted, New Mexico crusine taken to a higher level. So glad I live close by, this is my go to restaurant.
