“UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2011

cromwell manor inn, is filled with the romantic elegance and antique treasures from a time past. the ambiance is impeccable, including the luxurious gourmet breakfast served each day. these unique culinary creations are typical of this very special establishment. the inn-keeper jack and staff pamela could not be more accommodating, satisfying our every need during our stay. their talents not only include their impeccable service but also live performances each day of guitar playing by Jack and the delightful singing voice of Pamela during our dining experience. the appointment of each room at the inn would satisfy even the most discerning taste. all in all a most wonderful experience.

At West Point, 500th night commemorates that there are only 500 nights left in a cadets time at the United States Military Academy. It is a very special weekend, filled with beautiful dates, quality time spent with one another, and fond memories that will last a life time. However, in order for the weekend to work out the way that we intended, we needed a fabulous house to accommodate our large group. The Cromwell Manor was perfect. It was very spacious, had wonderful rooms, and had a breakfast to die for. The perfect house for any occasion, and if it could handle our lively group, it will satisfy any potential event!

My fiance and I needed a relaxing weekend away. He found and booked a night in this stunning, 1820s inn. At first glance, I was impressed with the stately columns and pristine brick. The views out back resemble the mountains out west. Inside, the rooms are spotless, large and historically preserved. I kept commenting to my fiance on not only the beauty of the interior, but what a fantastic job the interior designer did with paint selection, historic timepieces, furniture selection, etc.

Jack was a gracious, friendly and extremely professional host. He provides "the little things" such as fresh baked cookies, snacks, drinks and a gluten-free breakfast menu for myself. The breakfast is delicious as well.

Ask Jack to make you a reservation at Il Cena Colo - a five star, Italian restaurant in Newburgh. (They also have gluten-free pasta.) It's to die for.

Overall, an incredible, perfect getaway. We go to B&Bs all the time, incl. when I travel internationally, and this is one of the best!

Loved, loved, loved it. The only thing nicer than the inn itself was the host. We stayed 3 days and is was a complete joy.

From start to finish, an amazing weekend. We stayed at the Cromwell Manor Inn for a long Thanksgiving weekend getaway. We were greeted by Jack, who made us feel at home right away. The weekend included Thanksgiving dinner at the Canterbury Brook Inn, which was great. We had hoped to return to the Canterbury during the weekend for their regular menu, but just didn't have time. Breakfasts were amazing, especially the banana french toast....even my husband who doesn't like bananas loved it! The Cromwell Manor Inn is perfectly located near the Shawangunk Wine Trail, which took up a large part of our weekend. Also very close to the Woodbury Commons shopping outlet...high end stores, very nice! Can't wait to return, probably in the summer months.
