In driving home yesterday from a day at Destiny Mall, we wanted a good place to feed the family for dinner. Fabio's came up on my phone so we rolled the dice to try it. Everything was homemade !!! From the fresh bread, to the salad dressing to all the pastas offered - all delicious and made fresh. The surprise was that it was in the Clarion Hotel - I know, we thought the same thing, couldn't be good - we were so wrong. Try it - you won't be disappointed! The ladies that took care of us were super helpful and knowledgeable too - thanks for that !!

This is a hidden gem!! Several different homemade pastas! Everything fresh and made to order so be patient!! It is worth it!! Our meals as well as our appetizers were delicious, hot and huge. We both had leftovers! Tender calamari and oysters Rockefeller we shared. Veal parm and veal Marsala were our very abundant and yummy entrees! Fresh homemade bread accompanied the meal as well as a complimentary after dinner drink. Server was very friendly, attentive and efficient. She could describe any dish we asked her about. Loved a FULL glass of wine! Not the big glasses with a couple ounces! Owner came and spoke with us after our meal. So refreshing!! Best of luck at this location and your new location on Warren St!

The location is inside the lobby of the Clarion Inn on Ferrell Rd, Syracuse, NY. Very easy access into the restaurant, wheel chair ramp and stairs with electronic opening doors. The Name outside says : Marcella's, I can't figure that out. We made a reservation for Friday at 6:00 pm we were seated very quickly. There were many empty tables. The waitress was Ashley, she is very attentive and she knows the traditional Italian menu. We were served fresh baked Italian bread with dipping oil, very good bread. I had the broiled tuna cooked medium- delicious. The Cook came out to greet us after dinner and mingled about after chatting with us. Also after dinner Ashley brought us out a complementary cocktail.

My wife and I both had chicken parmigana. What we received was frozen patties with a bright orange and watery sauce with no flavor that tasted like it came out of a can. The homemade pasta was terrible and tasted like ramen noodles. Service was even worse than the food. The waitress never brought us bread with our meal, drinks and check took forever. Oh and the creme de la creme was our tabletop was not bolted to the base so even the slightest pressure on the table would make it move or raise up. McDonalds would be a better option than this place.

The dark, cool interior of Fabio's on a hot summer day was most welcome, even if the cuisine was less than wonderful. Pleasant, overworked wait staff helped the situation, but served the wrong wine and never came back to check on it. My partner and I both had insalata caprese and veal livornese. We agreed the meal could easily have been better. The tomatoes--in a season when local, delicious ones are easily available--were whitish and mealy. No fresh basil or quality olive oil accompanied them. Rather, two slices of grocerystore-quality mozzarella sat atop two dryish slices of tomato, atop shredded lettuce (maybe) with a sprinkling of nondescript dried spice over all ( oregano? Basil? Parsley? ). The veal--if that is what it was--though tender, was smothered in a greasy brown sauce with onions and cheese. The creme brûlée dessert was average. I would give this place a miss.
