One of the nice things about this restaurant is that it's slightly off the beaten path, but not by much. Somehow it's managed to escape the attention of visitors to the North Fork.
The restaurant is decorated in the style that you might find in the French countryside. It's warm, rustic and charming. That style may not suit everyone, but it makes for a very pleasant dining experience.
While the menu is not extensive, there's something for everyone, and each dish is excellently prepared. On a recent visit, we enjoyed the cod in a light cream mushroom sauce, rack of lamb, salmon, and the tagliatelle with shrimp. Each dish was a hit.
For dessert, try the crepes, not found on many menus these days. Wonderful and a generous portion.
