Stuck overnight due to cancelled flight, the Fairfield Inn provided a good respite from the storm. Tho small, the rooms are clean and comfortable with a microwave and mini-fridge. They offer a free airport shuttle every half hour which is very convenient. The Inn has a nice complimentary breakfast beginning at 6 am and if you must depart earlier, they have to-go bags ready. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is not within walking distance to restaurants however, there are several restaurants that deliver and they also have a "market", I'd call it a nook, with microwaveable food and cold drinks including beer. If you have a car, a number of dining options are just a few minutes away.

Prices are reasonable as well.

Moved to this motel the last night in NYC due to flight leaving early next morning. Service was fantastic. Another family member and I had moved all the luggage for 8 people while the others went shopping. We had help unloading luggage and getting it to our rooms. Their was a shuttle the next morning at 4:30 that got us to the airport. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Reasonably priced.

The important things, I guess--clean room and really good breakfast in the morning. BUT, the website advertises free parking, and the site only has about a dozen spaces The desk person points to the streets of NYC and says you can park there for free. Not happy with that. Hotel has only one elevator, and it is slow. VERY SLOW. This hotel may be close to certain big attractions, but it's more than a walk to places you might want to go to for a meal.

After some airport delays we need to spend the night in NY. It's a typical Fairfield Inn, bed was comfortable and large bathroom. Since you are just a few miles to LGA you will hear airplane noise late in the evening. After a while, we stopped noticing it. I was surprised to see two complimentary bottles of water in the room,

We arrived hungry, while there is no restaurant, they do have menus from local restaurants that will deliver straight to your room. However, they offer a complimentary breakfast starting at 6am. Decent spread with eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit and juices.

We selected this hotel because it's part of the Marriott brand and we need shuttle service. For an unplanned stay, last minuet booking, the room rate was reasonable - $170

First and foremost, Jorge the front desk manager is top notch! He communicated well and even helped us out with a local restaurant reservation to celebrate my parent’s anniversary. The hotel was clean and nicely situated near LGA. If you want to head into the city, take the 7 train right into Times Square (40min ride). Train station is not far from hotel.
