Wonderful soups and salads. Great bread and pasty selections. Cozy little spot on a rainy afternoon.

Had La Pain in NYC (couldn't find the option for review in NYC). Great food and delicious service. Only comment is that the coffee was not hot enough.

I've been to La Pain Quotidien in Roosevelt Field several times. It never disappoints. It's located in the mall proper just outside the entrance to Neiman Marcus. You can go for coffee and snack or a full meal. I've always eaten lunch there. The menu is varied and interesting. The coffee is served French style (bowl like mug) and is up to par with any high class French cafe. I've ordered panini, salads, hot dishes at different times and have always found the food to be fresh, well prepared and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. I've always gone with a friend, but for those who are alone they have the option of sitting at a long table intended with other lone diners. If you want a snack there's an informal sitting area in the front. For those wanting a meal, it's full restaurant service in the rear.
