Had been really looking forward to going on this trip for my husbands 60th Birthday. We book a long way in advance to go early Feb but about 8-10 weeks prior to trip was told the hotel was closing on the 12th Jan as it had been purchased by Four Seasons. We were offered another resort but decided to change our dates to work in with the closure. on the whole it is a lovely island and I'm sure when has refurbishment with Four Seasons it will be stunning. During our stay however, we felt the hotel was running things down and they ran out of lots of food and most of the staff were not really that bothered with the few guests who were left. Carly and Tom however did go out of their way to make our trip special. A bit disappointing
