Perfect honeymoon location. Couldn't have been better. So peaceful, service was brilliant. Great selection of restaurants and cocktails are amazing. Had a beachfront villa with plunge pool and it was incredible. Cant wait to return for an anniversary.

The Hilton on Silhouette Island is basically all there is on the island, which is what makes this place such a great place to visit.
The hotel is clean and the staff are really 'on it' to make sure that your stay perfect for you as individuals. The cleaner is the same one who cleans your villa during all of your stay so you get to know him/her quite well and you when you ask for anything the get it within half an hour which is fantastic service. Even the hotel management make the effort to get to know the guests, we were there for 10 days and we got to know John and Thomas very well that if they saw us they would always make the effort to greet us and make sure everything was ok and we were enjoying our stay. It was nice to be treated as people and not a room number.
All villas have air conditioning, a fridge, a safe. The hotel provides after-sun in small tubes daily which is enough for one person, there are also beach towels provided on a daily basis.
All of the restaurants and bars are part of the hotel, therefore you book everything to your room number and pay it as a final bill at the end of your stay. We have read a lot of reviews about currency which confused the hell out of us and tbh it caused a bit of stress before the honeymoon deciding what money to take, this turned out to be unnecessary as the only money you need is Seychellios Rupees or like we ended up doing, get a Revolut prepaid travel card (google it - well worth it) which we topped up with GBP and paid the bill in SCR leaving the card to do the work for free.
The drinks are expensive and there is an automatic 10% service charge added to everthing you purchase from the bars and restaurants which makes a bottle of water about £4.90, a 320ml can of coke about £5.30, and cocktails during happy hour when they are half price about £6.90 (which was well worth it). Luckily we went half-board and so our breakfast and evening meals were included at most of the retaurants, this is something that we would recommend as there are no places to eat that aren't attached to the hotel.
The island is small and remote with a beautiful beach that is never busy or crowded with lots of coral to swim amongst observing the various species of fish in the sea, crabs on the land and giant fruit bats flying overhead at all times of night and day. So special to see all this wildlife in its natural habitat.
Being in a sanctuary villa we had complimentary bikes, which becuase the distance the you can actually cycle is small, you can walk it in 20 minutes, we rarely used them but it was a nice gesture. There are a couple of gentle hikes close to the dock which are well worth doing as there are some secluded beaches to discover with some very interesting animals on.

Room Tip: Sanctuary villa if budget allows, if not go for a king beach front

This hotel met our every expectation. We went with the beachfront half-board option, which was all we needed to enjoy this place. The beach quality is not the best in Seychelles. However, the tranquility, beauty, and isolation of this place outweigh everything else. Coupling the location with excellent service by friendly staff, you really can't go wrong by choosing to stay here.

We stayed for 7 nights and were treated very well by the team. We had a beach front villa with a plunge pool and stayed bed and breakfast. We had as much or as little socialising as the mood took us and the staff really couldn’t do any more to make our stay the best it could be
