My husband and I came here for “Burger Night” which they have on many Thursday nights (just check ahead). We enjoyed the ambiance, quiet indoor seating with a cozy fireplace close by. Our waiter was Franco who was absolutely amazing, funny, and helpful with the menu choices. He brought us fresh bread while we viewed the menu. To start we chose the candied bacon, and Brussel sprouts. Both appetizers did not disappoint as the flavors were truly delicious, and enjoyed burgers with fries that were also amazing!

Service is friendly and prompt. Innovative cocktails, well prepared and presented entrees. Specials are well worth exploring. Beautiful rooms situated on the main street of Goshen. A large venue of carefully restored elegance.

I was searching for a local place to go to for one night for our anniversary and found the Stagecoach Inn, which looked lovely. I booked it through TripAdvisor's website (apparently through booking.com) on Monday, with a planned stay on Saturday night. I received confirmation from booking.com right away. On Tuesday I received a seemingly personally-written email from Stagecoach Inn expressing how they were looking forward to having us stay with them, with full check-in details and everything. LITERALLY ONE HOUR LATER I received a phone call from booking.com that the Stagecoach Inn cancelled the reservation because they were overbooked. No phone call from the inn, just from booking.com, who worked hard to find us another place to stay at the local chain hotel (which would make quite the romantic getaway -- note the sarcasm). I immediately called the Stagecoach Inn and was told that they booked the room a month ago and forgot to notify booking.com that it was booked. That's a lie because when I initially booked the room through tripadvisor/booking.com, I looked at options to book through expedia and hotels.com, which all had it listed as available, and ultimately chose to book through tripadvisor/booking.com because the booking was refundable. So if it's true that it was booked a month ago, nobody was notified, which shows an immense lack of organization. I think more likely is that they received a request for a booking for more than one night for that weekend, and chose to boot our one night stay in favor of making some extra money from someone else staying for more nights. Who knows what really happened -- all I know is it's time to scramble for another hotel so our anniversary isn't ruined, and that I would stay far away from this place. Truly awful.

Room tip: Choose one that they won't cancel on you at the last minute.

We are very sorry this problem occurred. We made a booking error as the room was previously sold. Our lead Innkeeper has tried to contact you on a couple of occasions to make this situation right for you. We would like to speak with you to discuss how to make up for this error. Please let us know the best way to contact you or call us at 845-294-5526 and ask for Faith or Ron. Thanks for your consideration.

We had been on a two week tour of New England doing Boston, the coast and the mountains for the Fall, with the Stagecoach Inn as our last night accommodation before flying home from JFK. This property was chosen for being near Woodbury Commons outlets mall so we could have some retail therapy as it is only 20 minutes away.

Right from the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel at home. Having been shown our beautiful room we freshened up and headed down to the bar for a pre dinner drink. Nicole made us a couple of fantastic cocktails, I had the Fashionable Plum whilst my wife enjoyed the Something Familiar. We chose to dine at the bar, we had struck up a good conversation with the people in there and Nicole kept the chat flowing. The one card menu gave a good varied choice of courses from which we chose the sticky ribs to share for starters and we both went for the rack of lamb as the main. Both were cooked perfectly, juicy ribs coated in a delicious sauce and succulent lamb served with the right amount of pink.

A nice bottle of Malbec with the meal was joined by a second, as people here just for a meal left we retired to the lounge to savour the beautiful surroundings we were in, each room has so many interesting details. One of the managers Carrie Ann popped in to to see us which was a really nice touch and made us feel even more welcome.

After a blissful nights sleep we came down for our breakfast which we took in the conservatory overlooking the grounds. Again the welcome and the food was brilliant, rounding off our best nights meal/accommodation of the entire trip - we will be back Stagecoach Inn the next time we cross the Pond
