Had the Mediterranean Chicken salad at the Open. One word - FABULOUS!
The staff at the counter was awesome too! My friends had the salad yesterday and we are all having it today!

If you live in Great Neck and commute to your job elsewhere, this will not serve your needs. The food is very good. Prices are high.

At this market (we call it the "French Guy" cuz he's great!) you can get amazing bread and croissants as well as homemade food that is made with care. It's all out for you to see or you can order sandwiches and omelettes, etc. It's tiny, but Ursula will take care of you and is a real mensch! Expensive but worth every penny!

the pastries are top notch, comparable to croissants and pain au chocolate in France. Excellent breads and muffins too. Excellent home made, high quality food. Love the salmon and the vegetable dishes. Small intimate place. Excellent omelets and sandwiches too. A cut above.

This well-located restaurant near the corner of Cutter Mill and Middle Neck has a few indoor tables but is probably best for take-out, of their collection of salads and desserts. The desserts include fruit tarts and min-cheesecakes and are just fine. However, the Greek feta omelet at breakfast was burned on the outside and contained no feta. (Did we just get the fill-in chef? This place starts off slow in the mornings.) They also make Panini, roasted chicken, and so on. Probably best for lunch or dinner take-out.
