Perfect Vilanculos Stay!

We stayed at Vilanculos Beach Lodge in July 2024 for 4 nights of pure tranquility.

The resort is set on a hillside that leads down to beautiful gardens before direct access to the beach.

The individual cottages are perfectly designed with a big comfortable bed and rustic furnishings.

It was a quiet time and there were plenty of sun-beds around the infinity pool or the tropical gardens and with the in-house spa make it a perfect place for a relaxing stay.

The food is fantastic with lots of fresh seafood including lobster available daily. The wait for food, even simple breakfast items, is usually much longer than expected but it is all cooked fresh and when in such a gorgeous place, there’s definitely no rush.

Vilanculos Beach Lodge is the perfect place to a relaxing Mozambique stay.

Such a beautiful place

This was our second stay here.....and we loved this place just as much as the first time around. Stayed here for 5 nights.
It is a really lovely place - comfortable rooms, fantastic setting right on the beach, delicious food and great service.
Food was so good we stayed in every night and ate in their restaurant.
During the day we walked down the beach and checked out a few of the other accommodation options and saw nowhere as nice as VBL.

Relax

Wonderful lodge, exceptional service. Highly recommend! Great for families with children and couples who wish to unwind. The restaurant has a generous selection of dishes including fresh seafood. A lush garden enfolds the property and is very well kept. This is by far the jewel of the Vilankulo coast.

Great oceanfront resort

Lovely oceanfront resort.We had a spacious comfortable, well-appointed chalet. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Housekeeping exceptional. Breakfasts were very good with buffet and varied hot entrees as options. Despite damage to the beach area wrought by a cyclone in March , the Beach Lodge appears to have recovered well and remains a comfortable luxurious option for a stay in Vilanculos

Great views

Our experience here was delightful. The resort is stunning, and the hospitality was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and the attentive staff made our stay truly memorable. The stunning swimming pool overlooking the sea added to the beauty of the place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The resort's beautiful surroundings made our short stay a fantastic experience.
