This was an amazing stay from the very beginning. The house was very pretty and the interior was filled with amazing furniture. The Breakfast was of the highest quality, it looked great and was very filling. It is in a great location just minutes from downtown. The staff was very friendly, and it felt like I was at a home away from home. It offers a small kitchen type area where you can make your own coffee and get complimentary snacks. The rooms have a very nice bed and personal bathroom for you convince. Each room is theme with something different from the old days of the town, and there is literature that makes a good read in the afternoon. This should be a location that everyone comes to stay at least once. The landscape is beautiful surrounding the house and you can sit on the porch all day just staring out into nature's kingdom. Once you stay here it will be the only place you will want to stay in the area.

This property looked like a good bet, but was really a mixed bag. When we arrived, painters were working on the exterior of the house, which was disappointing considering that we were hoping to relax on the porch rather than inhale paint fumes in our room.

Most of our complaints are very minor (cold coffee, horrible towels, view of a dirty pool in the back yard, no reply to our email requesting restaurant info). The staff was friendly in a forced way. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional.

Overall this inn did not seem like a good value for the money, but all things considered, might still be a good option for the area.
