Be careful, this restaurant uses peanut oil and the staff does not ask if you have allergies. Thankfully we did not have a "fatal" experience but server was nonchalant about it while kitchen staff was very responsive and offered an alternative dish.

Never miss an opportunity to visit Swoon. The food and cocktails are unparalleled as is the attentive and friendly service. Anyone would be pleased with the exceptional selections and presentation. Casual elegance, hip and happening with locally sourced ingredients.

Seated at a white-clothed table in a large comfortable and dimly-lit dining room, we were impressed by the attentive hospitality of our server as well as the excellent libations and those fantastic burgers.

Have been to Swoon every time we visit Hudson. It is consistently great food with excellent service and friendly staff. Food offered is current, local and in-season. Bar offers their own cocktails as well asa full bar. They have an excellent variety and selection of wines.

We went on a Tuesday night. It may have been the chef's night off (and the sous chef) as the food was well below average for this price range. Our entrees lacked seasoning and were overall clumsy, as if recipes were clipped from Bon Appetit but the cook lacked the skill to execute them. The bread was at least a day old which no amount of toasting would hide. I am a wine buyer and felt that my montepulciano should not have been bought by anyone with a palate. The local cider my wife had was excellent, though. Our pear tart was likely baked a day or two before as it was somewhat stale and basically plunked on a plate with sauce. To wrap up, we won't be back for geographic reasons, and this is based upon only one visit so take with grain of salt, but this performance doesn't bode well.
