I was sad to see the bathhouse looking so outdated and run down. Does not look as though it’s been upgraded since it was built in the early 1960’s. The bathroom was very dirty. We are not totally over a pandemic and a NY State park that charges $7.00 to get in has filthy rest rooms. The changing rooms were locked up. I looked through the locked up gate to changing rooms and it looked all over grown with tall weeds. Just sad like the aftermath of Chernobyl. Beach wasn’t too bad and there were life guards. Parking lots are going to pot. I would not recommend going there with your family.

Be wary of the back nine and buy extra frisbees, I lost a lot back there. During summer peak time they charge you but off-peak season it's free. Do not do the Disc Golf Course you will lose discs around the back nine...

The grounds coming in are nice and well groomed. The shoreline looks like a dumping ground. Sad. Parking not so good

small state park campground although the park is large- beach, playgrounds, nice nature center. Shower house was clean. we just stopped for an overnight stay while traveling. We did see two bald eagles fly very close to use while we were at our campsite in the morning. Also lots of monarch butterflies.

There is nothing much to see there except the small beach. However, the calm atmosphere with shade trees around provides a soothing ambiance. Great place do nothing and get perked up.
