I have been here before and it was good, but we were just blown away by the tastes and flavors on our recent visit. The sauces were very good, the curry excellent. Shrimp and scallops delightful.
Can't wait to go again.

Thank Brian D

Visited Ithaca for a 3 day stay. Decided to try this place on the commons. They had a great variety of Small plates. Asian, Indian, Thai all sorts of different dishes. A lot of vegetarian choices also. We were 2 people and we ordered 4 small plates which was enough not to be stuffed and leave room for a Purity ice cream run. It also is a great place for a single person to eat. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Great atmosphere to match the delicious food

Thoughtful and caring waitresses, they had me try several drinks before ordering the one I liked
Delicious foods and simplified menu to help you find what you want easily

Not sure what cuisines they specialize in. I couldn't tell you if it's a Asian or American as it's got a bit of everything

My son wanted to celebrate his graduation from Cornell with a family dinner at Mia. We had never dined here before and we agreed to take him there with our family.
We had to sign a contract since it was graduation weekend. We didn't have a problem with this since we knew it was customary for restaurants to do this for graduation weekend.
As it turned out we were one less for the weekend and we lost the $25 deposit for one less person. We ordered a bottle of champagne and when we tasted it, it clearly was a bad bottle and hadn't been stored properly. We called over the waitress and she spoke to the manager and came back to us saying that this brand has fewer bubbles. We're very knowledgeable with champagnes and we knew that wasn't the case with this brand. We didn't argue and ordered a different bottle. They took so long to get it to us we finally cancelled the order. Service wasn't up to par as my son explained. We really had poor service and no one seemed to be on top of things the entire time we were there.
The food was good, we were pretty happy with our selections. The only problem we had was with the lack of service. We were spending a lot of money since it was a prefix dinner for graduation, it just wasn't as good as my son had told us. Maybe they couldn't handle the amount of people they were serving, or maybe the staff was new. I'm not quite sure what the story was. The hostess really didn't seem to care about what was going on with our table. She knew we were having issues, but never came over to straighten anything out. When the bill came it seemed really high and when my husband looked he noticed the tip was doubled. After telling the manager about the mistake he said our waitress never worked Graduation weekend before and he would straighten it out. So even at the end we were still having issues. Hopefully this was just an off night.

This was perfect for a midweek dinner with friends -- unhurried conversation was possible along with the opportunity to sample and share Mia's pan-Asian fare. The tapas menu makes it really easy to get different tastes -- what was memorable on this visit was the pork buns, diver scallops in Panang curry, the slow-roasted pork belly and the Kerala prawns.
The desserts ALWAYS please -- we shared the chocolate-y marzipan cake and the creme brulee trio.
