We did this hike based on TripAdvisor recommendations and we were rewarded. This trail was about 4.4 miles round trip and we did it while it was snowing. The trail was well marked and we had no problems despite the very wet and muddy trail. If you dress for the conditions you will have no issues. The trail starts with a long but very easy walk to the mountain. You will encounter, what seemed like a beautiful oasis, on this part of the trail. Stop and take it in. It's wonderful. Once at the summit, there were 3 clearings that offered breathtaking views. When you hit the first clearing take in the views, but keep going on the trail to get to different vantage points. Happy Travels!
