Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, yummy continental breakfast. The MBH has it all, including bikes to tool around on, an awesome DJ, and a great pool. During our stay it was mid-week, so my husband & I had lots of privacy & our pick of lounge chairs poolside. We loved the music that played, songs from The Velvet Underground and others that we were really into, & that were often beachy & soothing. We didn't go to the beach, but it was so nice being close to the hub of Montauk where all of the shops & restaurants are. My only complaints begin with the shower. The curtain kept sucking into me & sticking to my body for some reason. Also, there just weren't many surfaces to put things on, and when I travel I bring my entire trove of skincare & cosmetics with me. The only other criticism I have is about my drink at the pool. It was the most delicious, frozen cocktail, but far too small. Had it been larger, I would have ordered two. All in all it was a wonderful experience & we'd love to go back to the Montauk Beach House one day.

Thanks for the amazing review. With regard to our overly friendly shower curtain we will definitely look into the fabric but it could be that that some people have very "magnetic" personalities :-). We really do appreciate your candid assessment and we will look into how we might be happy to add some additional shelf space.

Again many thanks and hope to see you soon.

5th year staying at this establishment and we've never been disappointed! The staff is very accommodating and extremely friendly.. ask for Niko at bar outside, he's excellent and such a good guy! We go for a girl's weekend each year and won't stay anywhere else.

Loved it! Great decor. Nostalgic and yet Millenial. Friendly staff. Great location near town and beach, yet private within itself. *HAVE to write 200 characters?! Believe I have said enough, hope it helps!

I went here for a small honeymoon trip after my wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and unforgettable. Poolside service and a confident location in the middle of Montauk made it an ideal spot for a summer beach getaway!

Rooms are comfortable enough but noisy from the nearby road snd all the early morning landscaping.

Frustrating pool hours for those who like to swim but avoid peak sun; no evening or early morning swims allowed. Different staff members tell you different pool hours. Pool cleaning guy said it opens at 8:00 (way too late given the sun rises at 5:00 in the summer). Office said it closes at 8:00 pm but pool attendant said 7:00. Either way, that's crazy. Nothing more wonderful than a night swim. Keep it open till 10 or at the very least 9:00!! It's not like they have lifeguards, so there's no reason to close it do early.

Free breakfast is basic; bagels, croissants, juice and coffee. No eggs or meats. It also isn't put out till 8:00, which is rather late, given that the grounds crew is blasting leaf blowers an hour earlier. No phones in the rooms, oddly.

On the plus side, it's an easy walk to the beach.

They keep all but one gate locked, making guests walk way around far from their rooms to go in and out. Very annoying! Get s combination lock of something.

Pool is ok. No trees and the water is a little chilly. No hot tub. They play music constantly on the speakers. Restaurant and bar have ridiculous prices, given there are cheaper places a block away. (The pizza place is fantastic!) The outdoor seating is nice.

If you're a young sun-worshipping hipster, this place is for you. Otherwise, maybe not.
