We always stop at Econo Lodge, are room was very nice and clean and we can bring our dog because they are pet friendly, it’s in a great area close to all shopping and restaurants, a great place to stay.

Plenty of parking. Clean and spacious room. Two floors no elevator, however, as seniors they realized a 1st floor was needed. Breakfast was all carbs, no protein; ,thought maybe a yogurt, fruit or hard boiled egg. Couldn’t find anything to use to make oatmeal in microwave . Every bowl and cup was styrofoam. In the rooms they suggest using our linens for 3 days to “save the environment” before they got changed! Staff Nicole at desk was great, and a gentleman in the evening; even a veteran from dessert storm working on a project stopped to help my husband with his tie. Price was fair and beds and pillows were very comfortable. If the breakfast was okay with you or you really don’t care about the future, you will love this motel.

I’ve had good experiences at EL in the past. We were in the area for a family reunion and booked two rooms for a one night stay. There was plenty of hot water & towels and the staff was friendly. However, the facility & furnishings were not simply shabby but dirty & in disrepair. I had tried to call the hotel directly earlier to asked for “newly remodeled rooms” as suggested in another review (d/t allergies) but was not able to get through. If there are any updated rooms, I certainly did not see any. The smell of plug in air freshener as I opened the door was overwhelming. I told the rest of my family not to come & would give the same advice to anyone reading this. I will try & post pictures...

After traveling from VT to ME and heading back home to VA, we needed a place to get some rest. The hotel was a bit out of our way, but the rates were worth the scenic drive through Newburgh and New Windsor back to I-84. The staff was very hospitable upon our late check in and the room was very clean and comfortable. We checked out early, after enjoying some grab and go items from the continental breakfast area. I would stay again if I found myself in the area.
