Visited Niagara on a whim after a very quick busininess trip in Olean, NY
It was such a very cold winter day , thank goodness it was not snowing! After a short visit to the falls , we went to our hotel for a warm shower and a quick change. Found this restaurant by Googling for a nice restaurant that serves steak. We got there and the place was nearly empty! We were hesitant to go in but we were hungry, tired and cold so we decided to give it a try, oh boy! Glad we did! The food just warmed our tired cold body! Appetizer of fried calamari , good soup chowder, and a porter house steak for two that is just so good !! Our server was attentive and accommodating . Overall, this was a really good find !

Our group of seven got together our annual Holiday celebration. All of us ordered different meals and we all had various drinks from the bar, from Martini's to draft beer. Everything we ordered was excellent. They offer an eclectic menu and our groups meals consisted of, filet mignon, stir fry's, creole crab sandwich, grilled caesar salad, onion soup and calamari. All of us were very pleased and we had no complaints. Our server did a wonderful job providing excellent service and she was very friendly. Prices were a little high but not out of line considering the quality, presentation and service. We would all definitely return.

After speaking with the manager Jackie, she informed us that the chefs are culianarians passionate about their work, and it shows in the presentation and taste of the plates we were served. We started out with the coconut shrimp, the thia plum sauce was a zesty flavor. My wife had the mushroom chicken supreme and I ordered the filet. Everything was cooked to perfection!! The cocktails from the bar were innovative. It was difficult to choose a signature drink, we have never been to a bar with such a variety of different flavors. My wife had the lavender lemon drop martini and I ordered a hot apple cider with crown apple garnished with a caramel apple slice. I was told the bartender infuses the vodka with fresh lavender, how creative and unique. For a hotel resteraunt you have out done yourself. Keep up the great work we will be back!! Probably to check out a Friday happy hour, we hear it is the best in town!!

It’s in the DoubleTree Hilton. It’s classic mid-century modern styling was lovely and welcoming except for a ceiling light fixture in the area where we sat. The fixture was a bit too modern, and harsh glaring light (See photo). The seats were very comfortable, although they were a little hard to get in and out of once my husband helped push me up to the table.

The hostess was very professional and friendly. Our server was kind, and very nice. He was professional and well trained.

Now for the best part - the food! We ordered light tonight. A maple glazed apple flatbread with goat cheese, caramelized onion, crispy fried kale, with a very light drizzle of balsamic. One word - heaven comes to mind! My husband enjoyed a dish called penne broccoli with tender beef tips, garlic aioli sauce, fresh tomatoes and fresh broccoli with just the right crispness. One word, fantastic.

Then came dessert. Caramel apple cheesecake. One word again- Incredible!

Some of the smallest dinner portions I have ever seen... although the food was good and presentation was lovely the quantity was skimpy.... my friend had beef short ribs... but it was definitely short... barely a 1/4 cup piece of meat on top of1/2 cup of mashed potatoes. My BBq salmon though tasty except for the mouth scorching jalapeno had more bacon than salmon... the husbands left hungry despite having shared our appetizers and having their own salads. While we were waiting, a large group of hockey parents in the adjoining large room were not keeping track of their kids who were loud and running through the dining room and out to the outdoor patio. Service was terribly slow, almost a 3 hour dining experience with no bread to help tie us over during the wait... our waitress though pleasant, repeatedly referred to us as honey, babe and baby... terribly disappointing experience for both couples who were all local residents celebrating 2 birthdays. Sadly, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
