Owner description: Experience with Boa Vista Tours, the true side of our beautiful island. From your Guide German Frank, you not only know about the history of Cape Verde, but also as the real life here. Along the way you have plenty of time to take pictures and relax. Their motto "NO STRESS" Frank leaves you plenty of time at the various destinations you will see with him.In the modern pick-up with a unique technique (also on the back of the pick-up you can hear everything that tells Frank in the cab) it goes on challenging off-road trails on the island.A trip with us will be the highlight of your vacation for you :-)

North tour of island a bit of an adventure, collected by land rover outside hotel, then your ready to go, travel on tarmac for about 10 mins then you go off road into oblivion, then you come across the most amazing beach and just for good measure you get a shipwreck thrown in..our guide was amazing and has probably forgot more about this island than we will ever know, once the shipwreck tour is done off to the village where...well its an experience you will only learn for yourself. on the whole a great few hours out and you will not be disappointed, cost about 38 Euros ea, but worth it..

Taking a tour of both the north and the South Island are a must. The island is very sparse but you get to see how the people live, and how progression is being made. It is a very poor island and it make s you feel very humbled especially when you arrive back at what would be to the islanders a luxury place to stay. We had really good tour guides and they told you anything you needed to know .

Amazing exhilarating breathtaking!! We loved every minute. My daughter and I shared a bike but wished we had got our own as we both loved driving it.

Pick up in land rovers and told to expect a bumpy ride, so that's what we got. The tour guide had a very impressive knowledge about the islands. Our first stop was to a ship wreck, not that impressed, it's location however, was totally stunning. Pure white sands rolling waves, totally heavenly. The next stop was to a small village and we were given an overview of living conditions and wages, it's a real eye opener but the locals were very friendly and gave a small show to their musical charms, which most tourist rewarded them for their efforts. On route to our third stop we passed by areas where small "pop up" farms growing melons grew were located, while goats roamed the hillside. Arriving at our third and final location we explored a small church and roamed the streets, taking in the culture and history of the island. Souvenirs were available for all members of the family the people selling their wares were very charming and enthusiastic. All in all a wonderful and informative trip, which even managed to entertain my 10 year old son. Throughly recommended!
