We travelled to Santorini during our honeymoon, and we would highly recommend the Volcano View. This hotel is exactly where you want to stay when visiting Santorini; a picturesque Cycladic style, modern hotel with 180-degree panoramic views of the southern Aegean.

There were so many delicious choices at breakfast which filled us up for most of the day, and the front desk staff helped us organise an afternoon trip with a local to explore more of the Caldera. It was also very convenient to have a free shuttle into Fira, as the Caldera is a 20-minute walk from Fira town.

We specifically recommend suite/room 180. It was located on the lower level to the edge of the property, so other guests did not pass by our room, and there was a Jacuzzi on the balcony.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I wish it was longer. The staff are kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The toiletries were great and the balcony was an added bonus. It is a bit far from Fira, but the shuttle comes on time.

The pool was great and the view, amazing.

Well worth it!

We stayed here for three nights and four days in late October. When they brought us to our room I couldn’t believe the view! We were overlooking the Caldera! All rooms have a breathtaking view of the Caldera. All of the employees we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. Especially Aspa and Kostas S. They both went above and beyond making reservations and providing suggestions for us to maximize our stay in Santorini . As an example, Kostas helped us plan a day trip on our own since we had a rental car. He actually drew us maps so that we could find our way. He was such a delight. We look forward to breakfast every day and a chance to see Kostas. The hotel was immaculate. And, even though we were there on the last weekend that they were open you would’ve never known it. Because we were off season we got a fantastic rate on the two rooms. The service was outstanding and all amenities were available. If we were to return we would definitely stay at the Volcano View. The only suggestion is to have the hotel shuttle make more frequent trips into town. It was a bit of a hassle to plan around the times. Taxi's were 10 euro if you didn't catch the shuttle. It was quite a walk into town (15-20 mins).

Overall: The name says it all! Breathtaking views everywhere. Very attentive and charming staff.
Location: Perched on the rim of the caldera with panoramic views. There is a paved sidewalk to/from town that we used every day, it’s an easy flat walk but a little dusty and the passing traffic can be unnerving. There’s also a hotel shuttle. Little market across the street is perfect for buying drinks and snacks (vs 100%+ markup from the mini-bar).
Sleep: Excellent - the rooms are pretty much built into the side of the caldera, so they are very quiet. Comfortable beds.
Decor: Typical blue and whitewashed Greek island style. Pretty and fresh.
Food: Pricey but decent. Huge buffet breakfast with a few tasty items, but the focus is more on quantity than quality. (Side note: I wish all hotels, including this one, would provide small pots for guests to take 2-3 cups of coffee or tea at a time back to their table, instead of everyone standing in line to refill their tiny cups! Especially now that everywhere has replaced big carafes of hot coffee with those slow one-cup machines.) At times they would play EDM or other club music through the restaurant speakers which seemed kind of tacky and out of place.
Misc: Exceptional customer service every moment of our stay. They mis-scheduled our airport transfer and made up for it by upgrading us to a suite at the very end of a walkway - making our huge balcony extra private! The staff is extremely attentive, happy to chat and super hardworking. I appreciate that they walk up/down stairs with luggage, food, towels etc. allllll day but always seemed genuinely cheerful.

We stayed mid October for 3 nights, we didn't want to leave! Unbelievable views, a better sunset view than Oia imo. Great breakfast with a huge choice. Very friendly staff. Big rooms.Very kindly gave us a bottle of wine when we mentioned we were on honeymoon. Special mention for Nikos in reception, very nice guy.
