I stayed at the Majestic Hotel in Room 129, its on the main road outside of Fira and a safe 10 minute walk to town & to Theoni’s Kitchen our favorite restaurant there. The hotel has 61 rooms and was built in 2005 and is only open April 1st until Oct 31st each year due to the tourism season on Santorini. The owner of the Majestic has a group of other properties; Campari hotel and the others are villas on the cliffs. The Majestic is a beautiful hotel, the rooms either face one side of the island or the other. My room (129) faced the main road and the Aegean Sea where the Cruise ships came to. We had a nice patio with table & chairs that we could sit out on. While walking back to the hotel one day, we saw a kitten off on the side of the road in the bushes. I brought him some milk & food and the staff at the hotel were so nice that they got one of the their team to go catch him to bring him to a local animal rescue. I thought that was so nice that the staff were animal lovers. My favourite staff were: Panagiotis, Marianna, Christiana, Eteni and her husband our favorite bar tender, who was quite entertaining and funny. The pool is beautiful as well and enjoyable to swim in. In the morning they had an amazing full course breakfast which was included. You could eat inside or outside on the patio with the best coffee, & best yogurt ever among 100’s of other items. They make your stay A+ . Drink prices ranges from 5 euros up , a glass of wine was filled to the top and they always feed you at the bar, Feta cheese, olives, fresh fruit and it continues with shooters. I give the Majestic Hotel 2 thumbs up for their service, friendliness and service and easily rate it a 5 star location

Room tip: Find out which view of the island you want and ask for a room that faces it, both sides are great

We stayed here fur 2 weeks in August 2016. This hotel provides a location that is close to all the hustle and bustle of Thira yet in a quiet location with great views. The beach is a taxi ride away which we visited one day but preferred lazy dats by the pool. Amazing service from all staff. Highly recommend! Would visit again.

Room tip: All rooms have sea views

The Majestic was a perfect hotel for my boyfriend and I to stay in for our vacation in Santorini. Perectly located away from all the hustle and bustle of the main town, but literally a 7 minute walk to it all. The staff is really what makes this place amazing. And the rooms are very spacious and perfectly appointed.
You won't go wrong staying here.

The Majestic iis indicative of its name.

Located just outside the town of Fira, easily within walking distance.

There are 2 lovely pools, one large fresh one and one smaller heated one. The bar is lovely and all it up at night. There is just a lovely ambience about this quality hotel.

The staff are great, especially Gianni on the front desk who was excellent in his customer service skills. The barman was great, and lots of fun doing his magic tricks.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, modern but homely.

The spa there is strongly recommended. I went the last day and came out feeling a new person!

As for the breakfast the best I had on my entire overseas trip. Huge range of cooked items - bacon, eggs plus cereal, fruit, endless cups of coffee and orange juice plus desert.

When I next go to Santorini I will have this top of my hotels to stay at.

Room tip: I stayed in the garden section. Although it might seem a bit out of the way you get the privacy and the quiet.

I travelled on my own to this wonderfulI island with Thomson. I booked a room overlooking the caldera with its stunning sunset views. Although the room overlooked a very busy road, it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the holiday, especially when the donkeys trotted past on their way to meet the passengers from the cruise liners. The service in this hotel was second to none, every whim was catered for by very friendly and attentive staff. The only downside was the journey home, Santorini Airport of a Tuesday evening in season is hell on earth.

Room tip: If you don't want road noise, book a room to the rear of the hotel, they still have sea views.
