Stopped in on a Tuesday night with a friend. The place had nice aesthetics and a warm feel. Exposed brick and duct work. Fortunate for us it was 1/2 priced bottle of wine night so we got a great deal on a Chateau Canon Bordeaux. We decided we were going to share several dishes. We started with the mezze. Pita was fresh and grilled nicely and the offerings were all very good. Eggplant puree, dill yogurt, gravalax, feta, olive tapenade, and several others. This could have been a meal in itself. Next we shared the ricotta gnudi and the octopus. Both were extremely good. The gnudi was cooked perfectly, firm yet light with the cheese flavorful and the sauce adding a nice balance. The octopus was the best I have had in a long time. Grilled and charred perfectly and still delicate to eat.

Overall a very good experience and a place I would return to with friends and family.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here on Thursday, July 6... One of the best in a long time! The service, food and value were amazing. They have a price fixe for $45, with three courses and then, they give you dessert... My husband had 6 oysters (wonderful), fresh made pasta with mussels and clams and then Branzino with roasted fresh veggies and fingerling potatoes - all for $45. Then chocolate pot cream with biscotti for dessert. I had the daily dockside crude, which was a wonderful ceviche of scallops, carrots, lettuce and tomatoes with an amazing dressing (we had to use the warm pita bread to soak it up). Next, I had the mussels & Chorizo - another wonderful sauce to soak up (thank goodness for plenty of pita bread). My entree was the fish of moment - Sea Bass, with roasted fresh veggies and fingerling potatoes. And, then to top it off - the special dessert of the day, wonderful creme brûlée! Wish this place was closer to home (Albany) - but we will be sure to be back anytime we are heading down to or back from NYC or LI.

Our group went here on Sunday of July 4th weekend. We were two couples. The ambiance is attractive. The menu is beautiful with many seafood, meat and vegetarian choices. They have smaller plates as well as entrees and appetizers. We shared the mezze platter which was a TINY taste of many different spreads (hummus, tzatziki, etc) and olives, artichokes and the like. Delicious but surprisingly small tastes of each for a $25 appetizer platter. Among the four of us, other food items included both meat, fish and vegetarian items. Fairly high food prices and portions are not too generous, but you can taste the quality ingredients which we appreciated. Everything was attractively presented and tasted great. Glasses of wine are in the $12-14 range.

Sat at the bar, enjoyed a few lovely tapas that were so delicious -we wanted to take a vat home. Grilled pita was light and delicate so as not to overpower the composition of each of the sauces (tzatziki, and eggplant). Manager was very careful to communicate food allergies to kitchen.
