Description: Art Cafe's cuisine is inspired by the many coffee shops that you might find in the streets of Tel Aviv and Europe, with a mix of traditional Israeli recipes and some new creative flavors. Not only do we have a passion for great taste but we also focus on food being healthy. We strongly believe in the phrase "you are what you eat" so we integrate Organic products wherever possible into our dishes. Our focus on such great quality and flavor has led us to Blue Bottle Coffee, a fully Organic and fresh brand of coffee based in Oakland, that pairs well with many of our dishes.

That feeling when you discover a perfect Mediterranean lunch spot in a bustling art community on the Western shore of the Tappan Zee that you drove past a 100 times en route to Upstate NY skiing trips and outlet excursions. Great Israel-inspired menu: shakshuka, sabich, challah, any salad (we can vouch for Chagall & Dali). I love NYack!

It's always a pleasure to ear here. Although many times there is a wait, but it's worth the wait. The egg sandwich and matcha latte is the best

I hadn't visited a Nyack restaurant in years, but always found some great spots on Main or Broadway. This one is in an old house next to the Nyack Library. Perfect place for reading that book you just took out and having a cup of tea or coffee. I would definitely return to this one on my next visit. Coffee was great. Companion had a smooth, delicious mochaccino. I had the Turkish coffee, which was served in a full size mug. I'm used to tiny espresso style cups - it was a bit overwhelming, but delicious.

The menu is filled with many wonderful Israeli dishes. I had the goat cheese malawach and was not disappointed. It was delicious. Companion had the eggplant malawach. Both made with a crispy phyllo-type dough and filled to perfection. Side salads had a pesto dressing. Very good. Will be back!

WOW were we happy to find this place! As vegetarians leaning vegan, finding the right menu is often a challenge and the Art Cafe BLEW AWAY our expectations! Layout is a little funky but we had a lovely quiet table patio on the patio and server even brought blankets to ward off the chill! Food was AMAZING in all respects, we savored every morsel and sip and wish we could have stayed longer in Nyack just to eat there. We weren't very familiar with Israeli dishes and now have a new culinary field to explore!

Had never been here before and it was a great surprise. Met a business colleague for lunch there and it could not have been a better choice. Quiet, had some degree of privacy and good food on top of it all.

Seems like a great place to grab lunch and a cup of coffee --as long as you are okay with organic/vegan/vegetarian dining.
