While the lobby looked cozy, the room itself was extremely cramped and poorly cleaned. There were stains on the furniture and parts of the walls were sticky with some unknown substance. One of the nightstands had an open box of condoms, a bra, pair of men's underwear, and various other clothes from the previous guests still inside. When I brought the issue up to the front desk, all that I was given a plastic bag to put the items in.

The complimentary breakfast was also underwhelming. Cereal, bread, yogurt, (watery) oatmeal, apples, and a single waffle maker were all that was available. Gnats were flying all over the bread and the apples. The orange juice that was dispensed had the coloration of apple cider, while the apple juice looked like water. Despite no other guests being present for breakfast, the coffee, forks, and syrup were all empty and no one was around to refill them.

Miscellaneous other issues include the extremely limited parking, with space for a maximum of 4 cars in the lot. Because it was so cramped, getting in and out was a struggle for our minivan. The Wi-Fi was weak and often took numerous attempts to connect. The TV was disproportionately small (marginally larger than the average computer monitor) compared to the dresser it sat on. The door keys were also extremely finicky, and any time one of us went to get a replacement key card, the other stopped working.

All-in-all, we paid ~$200 a night for this room and it most definitely was not worth even half that.

I wouldn't even recommend to a homeless person. They stuck us in a room in the basement that was like an old closet or storeroom. Terrible. And they charged us almost $200.00!!!

Booked a "Deluxe room with two double beds" 6 months in advance. Got a basement room, window onto pavement/sidewalk, one bed and one sofa bed. Was told there were no rooms with two double beds (see pics above, obviously not true). Had to then request sheets and bedding for sofa bed. Bedding was stained. Bathroom was good size but sink had a large crack in it. Ridiculously loud music for a party at the hotel started at 9.30 pm and went on until 1.45 am!! The room was vibrating and the emergency lighting was sparking. Went to complain to reception who agreed it was unacceptable but said they could do nothing about it. Relieved to get out of there at 6am. JFK shuttle pick-up was efficient.
