We stayed here during the Yosemite Half Marathon. Brought our pop up camper and found a site with electric. The only negative is that the camp site was directly next to some homes and the Wi-Fi did not reach our site. Clean and spacious restrooms and showers.

What a dump! Came here for a two week stay with our 40' motorhome. The main reason we picked this park was because of the great ratings from Good Sam. Are they off base! The only thing good about the campground is the entrance sign. Save yourself some disappointment and frustration and turn around. If you like being lied to and disrespected you'll love this place. We reserved a full hookup site with 50 amp service. What we got was water and electric in the "New Development" area (a field of mud). I told them I couldn't park a 40,000 pound motorhome on such soft ground. They couldn't do anything for us because the park was FULL but they would see if there was anything else available. Half an hour later no one helped. Another camper offered to switch sites with us being as he only had a small trailer and his site had a fresh gravel pad to park on. Turned out the new 50 amp breaker needed replacement. At the park managers request we called every morning asking to move to a full hookup site. Every day we were told the park was full. To me, full means closer to 95% occupancy. To them, full means closer to 60-75% occupancy. We had to change sites three times in the two weeks but finally got our full hookups. In talking with several owners at the park even they can't get into the park at times. They also told us it's the same at other Travel Resorts of America properties in other states. The reservation system needs a complete overhaul. Several of the roads needed gravel and grading. No need for speed bumps here. The Bathrooms and shower buildings were some of the most discussing I've every been in. Two unheated pools were on the grounds but no hot tubs. Long term sites and employees got the best of the Park, everyone else gets what's left. Nothing to do in the immediate area and no information about the surrounding area at the club house. The only good thing about this park is it's a kid friendly Park with lots to do for the little ones. We paid nothing to stay here with Coast to Coast and we got what we paid for. Never again!!

Despite the reviews we decided to go see Bass Lake. It was a free camping weekend that we got when we got our new RV so why not? I've been to some pretty bad membership type vacations and this one was pretty good. The place is nice, small, the playground in my opinion (and my young children) was somewhat inadequate. We had a great flat grassy site...very narrow but our neighbors were friendly. The dump stations are not in the best location either, but all in all I think in a few years the place will be really hopping. We can't go back because we opted not to purchase a membership, but we had a nice weekend.

Round-up weed killer is being used to create the baseball diamond, aound all the fencing of the dog run, around the mini golf islands, flower beds, under fences, around the base of rental units. This is done to quickly and cheaply deal with what are considered weeds. The practice will continue unless members demand that the practice is stoped. Children and animals are much more suseptible to the chemicals in these products.
