A long time very casual favorite in Port Washington. Probably the best pizza on Long Island - very authentic brick oven. Atmosphere is so, so - not updated since it's opening years ago but the food is very tasty. The calzone is big and delicious. The Greek salad is also a great compliment to a pizza. Bring cash as they do not take credit cards but it's a modestly priced spot so a good well priced dinner out for a family. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time of the day. Most of the strip center business' close around 6 or 7 which frees up space. Take out is always an option too.

If you love coal fired pizza this is your spot. Great pizza, calzones and salad. Cash only but reasonable prices. Not fancy but just delicious.

Warm atmosphere. Fantastic brick oven pizza. Thin crust. One favorite is mushrooms and pepperoni. Bring cash - the restaurant does not accept credit cards.
Great staff. Location close to Port's marina and Sands Point. A great opportunity to eat well and walk it off up and down the streets of Port and Manorhaven.

We finally tried Salvatore's early on a Saturday evening . The eggplant parm was our appetizer that we split , and it was very good - thinly sliced eggplant , a nice sauce and generous portion . The pizza was good - I liked the sauce , but although the crust showed the burnt bubbles , I felt that the dough was a little bit undercooked for my taste. The espresso was good - we didn't have room for dessert - maybe next time . By the time we left , the place was packed . Cash only , and their is a bank ATM directly across the street if needed . Also , parking could get tight but also across the street is a large strip mall

Nice well done pie with not your typical taste. Very light so you can eat a lot. The pepperoni was crisp and had a lot of flavor
